Maybe they aren't just going to give to Sorenson

Tabor and Kyle worked together in Cleveland previously. I'm inclined to consider him the favorite at this point.

Tabor came up under Dave Toub, the Chiefs special teams coach and has been a very good STC in his own right so it'd be a fantastic hire.

This is great news! Can they just now hire him...like right now? He would be a great get to run ST IMO.

I'd be all for this. Maybe Sorensen isn't rubber-stamped for the position.
you guys still hung up on sorensen... sounds like you guys want to keep him more than Kyle lol

Rooney Rule has been satisfied so they really could hire him today if they wanted to and don't have any other interviews.

They do need to get this wrapped up by the end of the week as the dominoes are about to start falling with a bunch of teams getting ready to hire coaches and they'll quickly move to building up their staffs.

We'll be back to square one next year if Saleh is hired.
can't go back to old GFs

You can if you were the one who screwed her over. Or she had to move and then moved back.
when you start trying to think it may work like the way you did, is why you shouldn't go back
Tabor is an excellent candidate as well. Would be happy with that move.

I think we should still check out Fassel too at least, but Tabor is probably the favorite with being a Kyle connection.

Tabor was going to be a top candidate for me as well then seen how his teams are one of the most penalized units

Hmm where did you see that?

I think Fassel is my absolute favorite option but Tabor would still be a big upgrade IMO

Fassel should absolutely get a look. I'd like to see them meet Rizzi too but he still has HC interviews remaining.
49er fans to Sorensen, while he's still on the staff...

Absolutely not. It's more anxiety that Kyle will instead of hiring a functional experienced Special Teams Coordinator.

I don't think Tabor coached Panthers Special Teams in 2024?
