The #Broncos have fired special teams coach Ben Kotwica, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo.

With #Saints interim coach Darren Rizzi available, that's quickly a name that makes sense for Sean Payton. Would expect they speak to him, at the least.

This is all I've seen about Allen and the 49ers
On the #49ers defensive coordinator search: Robert Saleh indeed a strong favorite but HC interviews loom... why Dennis Allen is a name to watch if Saleh lands elsewhere... is Kyle Shanahan more flexible on scheme? https://t.co/WaHDnT2iTb

I think they've got their eye on Allen.
I would hope they do, but they haven't officially interviewed him so I don't think its going to happen.
Looking like a Saleh says yes or no then we go with whatever option is left...
Yeah they are going to drag this thing out and be in a similar boat they were in last year.

Won't be shock if they quietly announce Sorenson and Staley as ST and DC

I didn't expect Rizzi. Throw in him interviewing for HC openings led me to hope for his under study Phil Galiano. Him and Allen and I'd be happy. Both should be here for the long(ish) haul.

Everyone I'm sure is going through all their options on both ends. My money is on tebor for STs and more than likely Saleh, possibly Allen.

Would be more fine with either combo .

if they are all in on Saleh, I can't imagine they don't have very good information that he's gonna be the DC here.
I really don't see him becoming a HC this go around and he should take interviews as to not burn bridges down the road.
Also I feel like we always get info on who they might have interviewed after the fact.

I'm just trying to sort the mythology out.
As head coach of the Chargers he lost a playoff game after going up 27-0.
Then the following season he let the raiders drop 63 points on him and got fired.
That's some headline D fails. But apparently Renaldo Hill was the Chargers actual DC for that- where's he at these days….
Conversely, as DC of the Rams in 2020, his team ranked #1, with some HOF caliber talent, of course but still.
The takeaway is don't hire Staley as a head coach.
But as DC he has exhibited some competency.
I'm willing to be challenged on this if someone can bring in facts.

Theres ZERO percent chance Saleh is hired by the cowboys. I'd be willing to bet Jerry is satisfying the Rooney rule
