It's clear that he doesn't want to be here unless its his only option as a non HC. That's even with the report of Matt saying that they'll pay him a huge amount.
Hes thinks hes getting a HC gig because hes taking all these interviews, if he didn't he wouldn't be taking these interviews.

Well duh. If you have interviews for a vastly better job you take them even if it's a long shot.
like I mentioned earlier name me a first go HC with a .350 winning record and zero playoff games that became a HC the following yr? s**t doesn't happen and he unfortunately fills the Rooney rule for a lot of places.

He's taking those interviews because he was requested to. You're not saying no and burning bridges. If he doesn't get a HCing gig (which is highly likely) he more than likely our DC. I don't understand what's the problem with that?
Ben Johnson took the HC interview for NE and reportedly knew he wasn't gonna get the job. There's nothing wrong with taking the interview, even if you know it's a long shot.
I mean we interviewed Noah Pauley for OC. You think he thought he was getting the job?

Why, you don't know if he's not a good ST coordinator. Just cause he didn't work out as DC doesn't mean he wouldn't be good at this position. That was his specialty as a player, special teams. What if he goes to ST and Moody starts making his kicks accurately. Weird things happen in football.
