Because the team's defensive performance during the final weeks of the season was almost historically bad, and team leaders—like Bosa—have not endorsed Sorensen.

For what it's worth, Maiocco thinks they're going to fire Sorensen. He also still thinks Ulbrich will be the guy in 2025

Schneider had a good reputation when he came here. One problem they had here was the players we used on ST. Many guys that might have been on ST were forsced into starting positions because of all the injuries. Even Moody got off to a good start this year until he had that injury that sidelined him for 3 games. Wishnowsky missed much of theyear because of a bck problem.

Schneider ended up with a backup punter and and injured place kicker to go with a rotating group of ST players. Not the ideal situation.

Those are the times your worth as a coach is tested. When you have the worst unit by an absolutely monstrous gap in between you and second worst, there's no excuses left.

Kyle had a brutally decimated offensive supporting cast and still coached us to a top 5 ranking in total offense.

Why is it that every time we are looking for a DC, the wide 9 keeps being the focal point? If Sorenson is fired I want a DC that is going to bring out the best in players that are here regardless of what scheme it is. I think Wilks would still be here if he was allowed to run what he wanted and not be forced fed with wide 9.
