GAMEDAY THREAD 49ERS AT BUFFALO 12/01 - 2024 Season Game 12

Tough game. Even with some of our bad losses I still saw a fight all the way until the end.
Last nights loss to Buffalo was the first time I could've turned the tv off. The down trend of this defense is getting worse. The nonexistent tackling and poor effort was on full display while the Bills were laughing and creating highlights. There was no fight with this defense.

The tackling wasn't great for Buffalo either. The defense wasn't able to get footing so vothe teamswere able to run well. Watching the last 2 games remnded me of watching Ali's last 2 fights against Trevor Berbick and Larry Holmes. In his prme he woud have mopped the floor with those guys but he was a shadow of himself when he faced them.

This game was about what I expected. The Niners had to fly all the way across the country to play a very good team coming off a bye. They were missing their top 3 defensive linemen including their best edge rusher. Their best DB was out. Their left side of the O line was out. Purdy was coming back after his shoulder injury. Then to top it off it wqs snowing the entire game. West coast and southern teams don't do well in snow. To make it even worse CMC hurt his knee early in the game and didn't come back. What could go wrong?

We could've been fully healthy playing the bills in sf and we would've gotten beaten by double digits. The coaching staff is extremely bad right now

We use to make it from the 70 yard line with an offense that can barely make it to the 50 yard line.

This kicker loses the Green Bay playoff game in the snow that Jimmy G won for us.

Its karma for being dumb enough to draft a kicker in R3. Inexcusable.

I agree that the DC could be better and maybe some other coaches but when other teams keep hiring your DC it makes it tough to maintain stability. As fot Kyle he didn't suddenly forget how to coach. If anything he needs to take the off season and change some things since the league has adjusted to that style of offense.

just heard the weapons Brock Purdy had available to him compared to who Allen had available to him. Absolutely no comparison. Brock had the weapons. He just can't get the ball to them.

Either way, Brock isnt Josh Allen. But few are, he's top 3. Brock just isn't in that class. Not hating, cuz I really like Brock but Allen is the MVP this year.

Kittle targeted 2 times. Twice. Kittle said last night he was open multiple times, but it is what it is. After that kittle catch kittle himself said he probably ran another 6 routes all game. That's just ridiculous!!
who's at fault? Kyle? Brock?
We are missing CMC and Aiyuk and kittle get 2 targets? That's just straight BS.

This is the first time I could actually sense Kittle's frustration with the number of targets he's getting.

Yes, Kittle should be featured and targeted throughout the game. Find someone else to block, his talent is being wasted

I wouldn't be shocked if Kittle asks to be traded to a contender.

Kittle was being held in to block much of the time. The OL, which isn't great at the best of times, was patchwork last night and it showed in pass protection.
