" 'old Heads" have experienced 5 seasons of joy and 14+ "lost" titles.
5 good seasons since 1946? Why bother to watch? That's a terrible return on investment.
This has been a pretty lame season but some of my favorite 49er seasons did not end in a championship (2011, for example).

A lot of fans had SB expectations, not realizing how hard it is to even make the damn playoffs every year.
I knew this was gonna be a down year so the pill is easier to swallow. But it's clear some people need a break from football and find happiness in other places.
It's not just the injuries there is obviously something wrong that is going to affect this franchise for multiple years if they don't do anything about it
I knew as soon as the holdouts and the CMC mystery that it was a lost season.
