The problem for the 49ers is they have a loss against every division opponent. It's such a long shot for them to make the playoffs that I don't even consider it.
I think they own the tiebreaker against the Rams and Clucks if the end up with the same record. They just need to whoop the Card's ass in the season finale. And there are some scenarios where two NFC West teams, can squeak into the playoffs. But all the p***y fans are going to have their panties in a bunch because we get further and further away from a top ten or top fifteen draft pick.
Screw the draft, I hate f**kin losing. The draft will come to us, don't chase the draft. That's loser mentality.
The Niners need to win more than the 2 division games. They need a 4 way tie which would almost mean they need to win all their remaining games. I saw the breakdown of how that could happen and it's highly improbable.
As for tanking forget about it. Players are playing for their contract next year. They aren't going to lay down for a draft pick that might end up replacing them on the roster. Coaches and GMs don't tell the players to tank. That's a fan myth.
The two division games are the most important. IMO. But yes, they need to win out unless everyone else in the NFCW loses the rest of their games then it's a different scenario.
One of the Seahawks remaining games is against the Rams so one of them has to win. Unless they end in a rare NFL tie.
