No. We need a real center

Drew Dalman is the best available but 49ers would probably have to pony up 4-year, $40M

Dalman might come here because his dad played for the Niners. I'd rather draft the best C in the draft. They're usually around in the 20's

Is he due to be a free agent? I wanted to get that dude so bad in the '21 draft. He also grew up in the east bay (born in Canada) and would be a homecoming for him.

Problem is Shanahan doesn't trust rookie Centers. I also said draft a Center but my thoughts are that he starts as a back up.

As far as Deebo I think a team might want him thinking they can get him back in 2021 form.

I think he gets 1 more year. Then cut at 22M savings.

49ers have the most cap space right now, but I been thinking, I bet it's to re-sign key players. Players I would really like to see back:

Dre Greenlaw
Charvarius Ward
Aaron Banks
Ben Bartch
Talanoa Hufanga (1 yr deal)

49ers should be able to do that, will they, I doubt it. But hoping they could keep most on my list.

I doubt there are any centers in the draft thay could come right in and be a big upgrade. Really good centers are hard to find and college O lnemen as a group usually have a lerning curve. Not all but most of them.

Exactly. But if there was a time to take a starting Center in draft, it was this past one. Zach Frazier and Jackson Powers-Johnson are both starting and TBH look much better than Brendel.

Greenlaw
Hufanga

Right now these two are a BIG must. Extremely apparent drop off when they're out. I don't know that Winters is ready to take over for Greenlaw. Campbell straight sucks. Brown is a liability and distant 3rd behind Hufanga and Mustapha.

I wanted JPJ and wouldn't have minded Frazier. Instead we got Pearsall. Not mad at the pick but I think JPJ or Frazier would have been much better for this year.
