What do you think someone other than the 49ers would pay him if he hit free agency? Serious question

A league that has paid the likes of Daniel Jones and a plethora of other garbage QBs who don't have nearly the stats or playoff/Super Bowl credentials Purdy has?

This is recency bias.

He's a really good QB. He was arguably the main reason reason the 49ers mounted the comeback against DET to go to the Super Bowl.

He has a horrific o-line, a fourth string running back, no receiving options outside of Kittle and Jennings, and a b******t play caller in Shanahan. And i'm convinced something isn't right with his arm this year. And he was still doing really good to start the season, when the rest of the team failed, and has just been a victim of circumstance in the past few.

It seems you are getting defensive; don't, I'm a fan of Purdy. Just curious what you think market value would be for him, what is a solid chunk of change?

Now I'd taking Brock any day of the week but I wouldn't mind some of that presnap quick release offense again.

For all intents and purposes we have mathematically been eliminated from playoff contention.

But this is catching up to the fact that they were spiritually eliminated well over a month ago.

Williams told reporters he was ready for what Purdy did based on what he had seen on film.

"He likes to run curl pumps, but I think the biggest thing is we just didn't really know when it was going to come," Williams said. "I was able to be patient on it. I didn't think he was going to throw it but he threw it up and I was ready to make a play."
