Notice how dominant the offense was when they mixed in a few screen passes to Kittle. I hope Shanahan sticks with that.

I wouldn't play Greenlaw or Bosa on a wet field. It just increses the chance of them slipping and reinjuring themselves.

If they can play; play, period. Season is on the line with every game.

Going to be interesting to see how Brock plays as well

We have a 4% chance of making the playoffs per NFL Network's GMFB....and even if we somehow snuck in, we would very likely be bounced well before getting to the SB.

I'll watch the games and cheer for my Niners like I have for 43 years, but this season is not going to end pretty ......we knew that a few weeks ago. As long as they cut some expensive vets and don't sign Purdy to a 60M per year this offseason, a solid draft will put us back on the trail to being relevant.

i'll take it. you just play hard all the games and the chips fall where they may. we had a great effort last week. lambs will be coming at us.

99% of every team's season doesn't end pretty. Is what it is.

Purdy is gonna get paid a lot of cash. He's also got one yr left on his current contract and I expect a 4 yr deal (5 yrs under contract). I don't expect some outlandish cap hit for him for the first couple yrs anyway.

one game at a time, but if they win out they will be 10-7 and have a damn good shot at the playoffs. After that it's anyone's ball game.

Kyle and Co will have this team competing next yr and we all know that. They will re-tool and replenish the roster.

If we finish 10-7, that would mean we beat the Lions on December 30th, which would be a massive confidence booster for this team.

Personally, if we win tonight, I still think the season will end soon, just on December 30th instead of tonight. I don't see us beating the Lions unless there are massive injuries to them. They're just playing on a different level from the rest of the NFC right now. It looks like it's their year (at least until the Super Bowl). They'll probably set the record straight that night that we're just not a contender at this moment.

I agree that the season is all but over, but that 4% would jump massively with a SF win and 'Hawks loss. Playoffs still possible with those two (not outlandish) results. Doubt we would last long in the furnace though.
Lombardi reported that Kyle drew up and installed a new play last week. I wonder if there's more in store for tonight 🤔

that's what he needs to get back to. i fear he's doing too much hand holding for the DC and ST coordinator. let those guys work, and let's get back to innovating on O.

I don't see why we wouldn't have a chance at beating the lions. Have you looked at their schedule? Their first real test is this week vs Bills and it's a home game for them. I don't count the Vikings and pack due to them being divisional games. Outside of that who have they played? Titans, Cowboys, jags, texans. They beat AZ by 7 when AZ wasn't playing as good as they are now. If we can win today, next week, get healthier we can absolutely beat them at home. I have no doubt
