No, if they cut him and designate him June 1st, they save 17.5 million in cap room.

It's an easy call. He's the worst player on the team and has been holding everything back since 2023.

Worst player on the team… ban this fool

You can't ban him,. He's a football expert.

Just fire Kyle (Only if they can get Ben Johnson)...

let John Lynch and his FO stay. They have been able to get us some good players, and good contracts.

I want to see Brock with another Head Coach dammit! An aggressive one who will provide and STICK WITH having a deep threat, to open up the middle of the field.

Those coaches in Detroit revived Goff's career. He was someone we laughed at when he played in the division. Imagine what they could do for Brock

Of course, having Amon-Ra St Brown, one of the best in the league against both zone and man coverage had a lot to do with that. Then add Montgomery and Gibbs to make PA work. ...and Sam LaPorta.

Oh yes, having the best OL in the league will improve the QB a bit as well.

OL I agree. With the offensive weapons, I will take CMC and Mason on the field over Montgomery and Gibbs. And I'll take Kittle over La Porta. And I do think BA is better than St Brown. So now we're comparing Deebo and Pearsall with Detroit's other receivers.

Johnson would do a lot of good for this offense. And hopefully refresh some of these position coaches eg oline coach that do nothing for us every year…

You think Aiyuck is better than St.Brown? Dude, that's bats**t crazy. He averaged what, like 30 yarda a game this year before the injury? He's not on the same planet and I would argue isn't even on the same tier. It was a mistake to pay him.

Also, if we trade Deebo in the off season we lose 15mil cap space.

If we do it the following off season we save 12mil.

Not hard to figure out that Deebo will almost certainly be with us next season.

Where do you get 17mil from? OTC has it at 5mil and you don't get out of paying any of the dead money you just chuck the extra on the 2026 cap when other players have ballooning salaries.

Sportrac used to have it at 17.5.

Regardless, he needs to be cut even if the team only breaks even. He's atrocious and holding back the team.

Yes, he's the worst player on the team.

Screenbo scouting report:

8-Oustanding
7-Well Above Average
6-Above Average
5-Average
4-Below Average
3-Well Below Average
2-Poor

7.5-8.0: Franchise caliber player
7.0-7.5: Pro Bowl caliber player
6.5-7.0: Frontline NFL starter
6.0-6.5: Solid NFL starter
5.5-6.0: Average NFL starter
5.0-5.5: Below average NFL starter
4.5-5.0: Backup/role player
4.0-4.5: Borderline NFL player

For years, it was clear that if he were only average with the ball in his hands, he would not be a football player. He is now average with the ball in his hands. The power is gone. He doesn't break tackles anymore. He has always been literally the worst route runner in the history of professional football. Starting him as the #2 receiver is the equivalent to starting Devin Hester or Cordarelle Patterson at wide receiver as the #2. He's a gadget guy being labeled a "wide receiver." He can't separate from a corner in man coverage unless it's a go route, and even then, the general rule with receivers is the shorter you are, the faster you have to be to be a vertical threat. If you want to completely take him out of a game, just jam him. He will act like it's a running play and get called for offensive pass interference. He has never beaten anybody coming out of his break in his entire career. He is too stiff to plant and drive off a cut and instead rounds all of his breaks. He can't even win on a basic slant anymore. He's a non-factor in the running game in all meanings of the word. He loafs on decoy routes. He plays into Kyle Shanahan's worst impulses for gimmicks and trick plays, getting away from basic offensive football.

Hands: 4+
Patterns: 2
Receive Deep: 5+
High Point: 5+
Catch In Traffic: 6
Run After Catch: 5

You guys are soft af
Accept the fact that some changes need to be made with personnel and maybe the coaches. There will be players leaving for free agency and some that get released. Kyle needs to evluate the season from the play calling standpoint and decide ifhe needs to change it up next year.

Obviously they need to hit on some draft picks since they'll be drafting earlier. Free agents are always in play. They need to look at everything if they want to improve. Nothing is perfect on this team. Hopefully they won't have so many key players on the IR next season. That would be a start.
