Can't wait for Darnold to get blasted and exposed instantly in the playoffs (where he has literally never even take a snap, btw) and we can move on from this discussion lol

People seem to forget the preseason when they both played with the ones. Brock was clearly better and it wasn't close with the same players...

It's shouldn't be a discussion in the first place but lots people don't know football.

I mean, to be fair… Jimmy G took us to a Super Bowl. Didn't mean anything. Brock Purdy took us to a Super Bowl. Apparently doesn't mean anything either to half of this fanbase.
With that said, I absolutely agree with you. Burrow is just one of those guys you don't trade or else your fanbase will burn the stadium down. We could offer Purdy, three 1sts, a couple mid-round picks and another key player like Aiyuk/Bosa and they would still almost certainly say no even if Burrow requests a trade.

You all are crazy if you think Burrow will stay in Cincinnati with a loser!

Heard another one on one of the podcasts this morning.
trade Brock for a first. Use that first on a quarterback. Sign Kirk Cousins and sit the rookie behind up for 2 years.
not a bad thought if Brock is looking for max contract…
Probably a 2nd rounder for Purdy. Actually spend some stock on the O-line. Cousins & Zach Wilson.

It's not Burrow's choice. He's under contract until after 2027 and the franchise tag is a thing.
Burrow could march straight to the Bengals' FO and tell them to trade him and it would still take the moon, sun and stars to get him. I'm talking Purdy + three 1sts (including our next one) + Aiyuk or Bosa just to START the conversation.
Also moving Burrow now would be a $68M cap hit for them.

Or
Have Shanahan shove his freakin ego up somewhere and go all in on Rodgers and Adams for 1 year.
Burrow is simply untradable. I know you were probably joking but that thought did cross my mind
But Burrow has smaller hands than Brock

Honest question….Why is Darnold so much better on the Vikings than with us?

Lol you're comparing one game vs Darnold's 16 games with Minnesota.

I'm not basing it on anything, I'm simply asking a question

He has a REAL COACH over there. Instead of a CLOWN. A real QB developer. Somebody who understands the position. That makes a difference.

Then what are you basing it on? Preseason games?
