Are you serious?

I've been watching a ton of vikes games because of my wife who's from MN so I can say with 100% certainly, there is no way Purdy would slay with Jefferson and Addison. Much like Darnold would look like trash here.
Purdy simply doesn't have the arm to get them the ball the way Darnold does.

Please refer to the Nailor touchdown yesterday. Sorry man, Purdy can't make that throw. And Darnold does it every game, multiple times.

This is a 45 yard pass to a WIDE OPEN WR. Are YOU serious?

Yes I'm serious. If Purdy makes that throw once or twice every few game 9er fans are freaking out cause it's a huge deal. Darnold does that every game multiple times a game to different guys. Purdys a good QB, he just doesn't have the cannon that Darnold has. There is no way in hell Purdy could utilize those receivers the way they are currently utilized in MN. Purdy is made for SF and fits perfectly here.

You're proving my point. Darnold is able to throw to wide open WR's multiple times per game because they are better WR's than what we have.

If you want to argue that there are throws that Darnold can make that Purdy can't, you'll need to find a much better example than that one lol.

This whole Darnold vs. Purdy is ridiculous.

Darnold was already here, under this coach and with the players currently on this team and he looked like the old Darnold. Minnesota runs a different offense with different weapons under a coach who was a QB when he played. Darnold fits in perfectly there. I'm not sure he can look like this anywhere else.

Just a question, how much regular season playing time did Darnold get while in SF ?

Just a question, why does that matter? Ohhhh, you think the forums are a better judge of talent than the coaches. Got it.

Why does the amount of playing time matter ? He threw less than 50 times while in SF. You'd judge him on that ,got it.

Darnold MUST have an arm like that to complete some of those passes because he does not process as quickly as Purdy.

Also, having a very good PAIR of OTs allows him to take the time to see what he needs to see before he can pull the trigger. Darnold is just not an anticipation thrower most of the time.
Because that Darnold throw/play is so much different than this:

Jefferson, Addison, and nailor would
be wasted here in SF or in MN with Purdy as their QB. If you want to believe he would be having the same success as Darnold……..ok. Good on you man. There's no way to actually find out so it's what one believes. I've seen damn near every vikes game
the last 2 years so I'll just beleive what my eyes are telling me. My wife's family who are lifelong Vikings season ticket holders think the same. I'll go with their opinion cause they would know better than you or I.

That shouldn't be an issue. Kyle said Darnold have one of the best arms he has ever seen, or words to that effect.

It isn't just about the arm orJim Druckenmiller would have a gold jacket.

I'm not the biggest arm strength guy, but there are examples every week. Didn't watch their game last night but the game winner versus the Hawks a week ago comes right to mind:

@ End of video.

Brock can be highly effective when things are going well. We've seen it. He simply does not have plays like this in his bag.

Purdy can slay with Aiyuk and Deebo. He would absolutely kill it with Jefferson and Addison

It's like saying Drew Brees wouldn't be good with them because Darnold throws way harder. You guys get so impressed by the dumbest s**t

He threw it just as far off his back foot with line sitting on his lap in Jacksonville last year. There's throws Darnold can make that Brock can't (same goes for Trey Lance) but this isn't one of them

If only Purdy had Darnold's arm.
