Probably. That's no excuse to root for them.

I keep thnking their late game magic will run out. Both ther Bills and Eagles are good enough to beat them. The question is will they?

Call me crazy, but I want to see KC win again. If the 49ers can't breakthrough and win one then I don't want anybody else do it.

I can't imagine seeing someone like Washington win the SB out of nowhere considering all the 49ers core group has gone through in the last 5 years.

In other words, if Washington beat KC in the Super Bowl, this is how we'd be looking at Kyle…

When we're not involved I always root for Philly if they're still in it - I lived there for a few years and I like the town and the fans. I'm actually a Phillies fan in baseball since I got into the sport when I was living there (I'm foreign).

Obviously I wouldn't mind Buffalo winning for all the reasons everyone would like to see them win: good karma.

Washington is a feel good story, and a Cinderella story, so they would be ok in my book to win.

Though I don't resent KC for beating us twice (it was our stupid choke, both times, especially last year when we kept tripping up over our own shoelaces), but this year they're simply not fun to watch. So, they would be my least good scenario, though in the end as long as it's not Dallas I don't mind who wins other than us. I'm genuinely neutral (with a Philly bias as above).

Screw Philadelphia! Just because you get in opposing fans faces and threaten to fight them after drinking too much alcohol at the game, doesn't make you a passionate fan.

It's the Bills year. Just need to get by the Chiefs.Josh Allen is not losing the SB to Hurts or a rookie QB.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've heard all that before. Santa and snowballs and all.

There are pricks among their fans, no doubt. Aren't there any in Santa Clara or (god forbid) Candlestick before that? Candlestick crowds were among the snarliest, most threatening ones I've seen in fact, and that includes European football (soccer to you) ones. I've been in enough NFL grounds by now (Seattle, NJ, STL, NE, plus our own of course) and you get all sorts in all of them. I would actually class Philly fans as less annoying than, say, Boston entitled ones who are insufferable, or Giants fans for that matter. And all of them are little cherubs compared to Dallas fans, although the latter have been mellowing out after decades of futility.

I've been in 9er colours at the Linc and only got a little, generally goodnatured smack talked at me at worst. Nothing that couldn't be handled with a smile and friendly banter. OK, it helps when I have a Phillies T-shirt under the Frank Gore jersey, or a cap with a red "P" on my head. I can confuse people even further, when I show them my Arsenal and Hibernian merch on me! I have seen shouty idiots of course, but as I said, nothing worse than SF/SC.

As a Philadelphia (adopted) baseball fan I can assure you that most of the famous Philly vitriol is directed towards their (our, in baseball) team. And that's one thing that I love about them: they take no crap from futile, quitting teams. The famous (not infamous, famous) booing is all about paying customers, both in money and in emotional investment, letting stingy owners, useless coaches and demotivated players know all about it. If the team tries, and fails, it becomes a beloved symbol for the city: see 1993 and 2022 Phillies, or the 1980 Eagles before them.

There is BS about Philly fandom, of course. All the crap about a "blue collar town" (that has some of the oldest money in the country), the Rocky nonsense (a statue to a fictional character, ye gods!). the E-A-G-L-E-S chant. But the media laps it up, and boosts it with the boring fairytales about snowballs and Santa (which did happen, a million years ago, and was insignificant as an event then).

Anyway, long story. My neutral rooting order is: Philly->Buffalo-->Commies-->KC (and that will suck a bit, unless they actually play some decent football for once this year).

Anyone but the Eagles.
Only be happy if the Bills win.

Washington to make it to and win the Super Bowl. Synder would go crazy insane with jealousy and envy.

The NFL wants to get their boy the 3 peat. But then that s**t is over and it's Brock's turn! We get it in Santa Clara and in '27 at Levi's South!
