The Packers and Chiefs do not have a better offensive team than SF.

Seriously... I'm a Niners fan but there is no way we have a better offense than the Packers and KC. I think that is a good list before the season starts.

Mahommes had his worst year and the Chiefs were absolutely mid last year. The 49ers, with all their issues, are great between the 20s. Inside the 20 is where they have issues. Get better up front and we should be top 10 or even 5 in points again.

Defense needs a ton of work but rookie defenders always come in and have an easier time adjusting than offensive guys.

Find me a better offense than this:

LT- Trent Williams
LG- Ben Bartch
C- Jake Brendel
RG- Dominick Puni
RT- Colton McKivitz

WR- Rickey Pearsall
WR- Jauan Jennings
PUP- Brandon Aiyuk
TE- George Kittle
TE- Luke Farrell

QB1- Brock Purdy

RB- Christian McCaffrey
RB- Jordan Mason
RB- Issac Guerendo

The offense is decent though I do hope to never see Brendel on the field for us again. Just added a decent veteran Wr. We need 1 more starting OL and depth and a backup QB. It looks like they have added some ST guys but man the defense has a lot of holes.

I can't see how a talented rookie center could do worse.

I could run with Bartch and Burford at LG if we took a center. Problem is, Kyle, of all positions, is least likely to play a rookie center.

Ya.....you have wonder why he has overlook the C position the past few years when he sees it as important.

No clue. I see how he was enamored with Trey Lance and was drawing up so many plays for him. There was raw talent and he figured he could coach said player up. I'm shocked he hasn't seen a guy that had a high football IQ, could maul guys in the run game, pass protect or at least had raw tools that he felt Foerster could develop. Not once in 8 years. And there have been guys that fit the bill. Given how his offense works, I'd think he would want better than Brendel who at this point, I wouldn't even want as a backup.
