It's almost like giving CMC and Trent Williams massive raises just as a thank you for fumbling in the Super Bowl and missing a lot of games was a mistake
You should really be spending money on players you need, not ones you already have and are well past their prime.

Brown isn't who I would've brought in but he has starting experience and had some good moments before Seattle pushed him down the depth chart behind Woolen and Witherspoon.

So you don't want to pay your best players money but you do want to overspend in free agency and get players other teams deemed as replaceable?
