I give this signing a C. If he had more starting experience it would be a B. The underrated pick up of the off season so far has been Tre Tomlinson. IMO.

Agree about Tomlinson! I was extremely high on him that draft. I don't care about his size, kid can play. I hope they don't pigeonhole him to the slot because of it; just like they did Womack

He had the highest press man coverage rating in the NFL in 2023, FWIW, when he started 7 games. He's supposed to be a really physical corner. It's depth.

Niners are really just plugging holes at this point.

Kid can play.

Tomlinson won the 2022 Jim Thorpe Award as the nation's top defensive back, also picking up first-team Associated Press All-American and first-team all-conference recognition by recording 18 passes defensed (team-high three INTs, 15 pass breakups). He also posted 50 tackles, two for loss, in 15 starts

I like this kid, you could probably put probably put him anywhere in the secondary. At the very least I think he'll be good depth, much better than Yidom and Yah-Sin. Wonder why the Rams waived him?

I think tre will get the #3 spot. He gets involved
it has been a rough offseason. But. I feel they are getting the back end defense kind of sorted

But he's allowing a 144 passer rating. He's like the invisible man of that's true.
