Zach Wilson - obviously has a nice physical skill set but just too emotionally immature and selfish. I actually liked him the least coming out of the draft.

Mac - when he had a quality OC, he was a pro bowler. His next few years he was royally screwed. I don't think he's amazing or anything but I think BBs horrible OC decisions really derailed his career and confidence. The stability here for the next two years should really help him.

fields - I liked him a lot and think the bears gave him a poop sandwhich. He's a great athlete but I think he struggles reading the entire field but serviceable.

lance - ive ranted enough about him. I hope he finds a practice squad but he's shown he can't really be a third qb. So. I doubt the league will have a spot for him for much longer if he doesn't make large leaps

Mac Jones was semi decent with the team Tom Brady left behind, but soon showed his true colors once that roster started changing.

Its so common for certain young QB's to start hot and then fizzle once defenses adjust and they have no answer. Thats why im not ready to crown Jayden Daniels as the next great young QB. There will be growing pains, and the real test is going to come in the next couple years after theres a book on his tendencies.

Mac is a solid pickup. He probably can compete just as much as Brock too.

Mac led Alabama to a championship and Patriots to first year playoff berth. He plays well on good teams and poorly on bad teams.

If I am Brock, I am a bit nervous.

Brock will have about 55 million reasons to feel secure in his role on the team.

Lol
This is the guy that Kyle supposedly wanted initially in that draft. Let's see if he can make him work in the 49ers system. He's more like Purdy in many ways than some of the previous backups.

Kicked a dude in the nuts and twisted another player's ankle IIRC

Oh yea. What a dweeb. We can only hope he's grown as a person and we can concentrate on the football side.

Not to mention complains about play calling. f**kin cry baby, but FWIW we didn't hear about any of that in Jacksonville.

Matt Patricia was his OC, so I'll give him a pass there.

As far as the other stuff, I honestly think teams need a Draymond Green type player… however this is a QB, and Green is good at his sport, lol.

Exactly this. Like in any profession, your talent level determines how much slack you get. I don't think Mac is a good QB so I don't like his antics. However, if he balls out, he can kick whoever he wants in the balls.

I volunteer Grant Cohn
This makes how many former high 1st round QBs Shanny has brought along in hopes they showed something of their initial potential?
5 of them now?
All slugs, except Darnold, but he wasn't needed much here.
I hope Mac gets a minute to show something.
2 SB births amid the rummaging. Not gonna critique the digging too much compared to how the other 31 have done in that time span.
