I like all the defensive picks and the draft overall. I know an O-lineman gonna be drafted and my prediction is Jonah Monheim Center USC.

He built like Michael Carter.
Love this pick.

If we take him - I hope he's a stud.

I like West and his value more than Collins

Collins will be the beef he wont likely put up the stats but he is going to keep the LB clean to make plays

West has been able to do that as well. IMO you should be investing those higher in picks in 3 down guys that can actually rush the passer.

I love that they beefed up the DL. They still haven't improved the pass rush, especially from the interior

What makes you think that Williams isn't a three down player? I think him being able to play the run makes him a sure fire three down payer. Are you thinking because he only had 14.5 sacks in college that he won't be able to pass rush as a pro? I say go look at Aldon Smith's college stats, they had the exact same numbers of sacks in their college careers except Williams played fewer snaps because of the depth and rotation Georgia does on their line. Aldon also only had 3 sacks his last year in college, but set the rookie record for sacks and was on a pace better than Reggie White until his dumbassery derailed his career. I'm not saying that he is the next Aldon, I'm just saying that context is important, and relevant. He is a physical freak with violent hands, massive power, a couple of decent moves, great short area burst, long arms and giant hands. Add that to the fact that he will be playing in the wide nine instead of lined up tight, and I think he could be a lot better pass rusher than some on this board are giving him credit for.

Where does that say he thinks he is buck? He says it's a "type" first of all, And then mentions his strength against the run, saying nothing about his pass rushing.

How is he a Buck type? Da f**k does that even mean? Buck wasn't a great run defender. He's the definition of a 3-tech penetrator. They didn't even play the same position overall. They couldn't be more different as interior lineman.

Thats like me saying Anquan Bolden is a Xavier worthy "type" because they both play WR

He could just mean that he will play the 3t and West the 1t, you're reading too much into it, lol.

Alfred Collins--332 lbs
CJ West--316 lbs
Evan Anderson--326 lbs

Holy f**k with those guys eating double bocks I wouldn't be surprised if Warner gets the DPOY award because he will be flying without having to deal with o-linemen in the second level.

I hope so but I saw that more for Greenlaw. This new kid Martin is smaller and not as fast so I'm not sure for that will work out. I do like west though

Martin is listed about 1" shorter and 9 lbs lighter.
speed wise they both ran 4.53 40, Martins 10 split was actually faster 1.54 compared to 1.59.
These are numbers I pulled up not sure there 100% accurate.

Nick Martin timed 4.53 at the combine. 5'11 - 1/2" 221 lbs. Dre Greenlaw timed 4.73 at the combine. 5'11 - 1/2" 237 lbs. But supposedly ran 4.53 at his pro day. Had a bad hamstring at the combine is the story on Dre. They are about the same size and same speed. Although Dre had a little more weight. Martin looks really fast on film. Even tracks down RB's and WR's from behind sometimes. His speed very much shows up. Not sure how it will translate here but it shows on the College field. Not just the combine. Obviously they are hoping he's a similar type of player. He was hugely productive when healthy and flys all around making lots of tackles.

Yup he's definitely not slow, and his weight seems hybrid, played SS at times in college. If not injured last year, he'd be drafted higher
