New updated 49ers salary cap room for 2023, $4,375,090, they'll also get back $849,600 in August, which is just miscellaneous workout bonuses that the NFL/NFLPA deducts each year, so they will have $5,224,690 in cap room soon, enough to re-sign both Deebo & Bosa.

I really thought Ebukam's cap number at 8 mil would be a cap casualty. I guess they can carry him at that number.

Maybe they ask him to take a pay cut or redo his contract right before season .

They were always keeping him mainly because in the last eight games of the year he had I believe the same sack numbers as Bosa (8) and over 30 pressures. He was on fire and got a sack in every playoff game. In the first half of the year (8 games) I believe he had 1 sack and less than 10 pressures

Yup. He was really ascending. Plus he's really good at setting the edge too IIRC.

Very true. He was excellent setting the edge. Always solid bs the run. He's our starter for sure at DE opposite Bosa
Where are we at now with cutting Ford?

I love your point about the 49ers having enough of those compensatory draft picks to be able to move all over the 2023 draft despite not having a first round pick. I think Kyle will have enough draft picks to implement NC's offensive line talent stacking development program. I'm sure Kyle will, considering NCommands pull with the front office.
