If i understand correctly. The base gtd likely has offset language so when some do not make the roster but sign on another's 53 it does not count?

Basically the player gets the money, and whatever they earn from another team, or on our PS gets credited back to us for 2024, just like if Sam Darnold doesn't see the field his $1.8M LTBE incentives would be credited back to us for 2024.

Wonder when we'll finalize Bosa. Wouldn't mind adding a vet CB like Peters and Edge with what we free up with his extension.

Likely won't happen until July or Early August right before Camp, or like Deebo a week or so into camp, I expect Bosa to do his thing like Deebo did, then by the time pads come on, Bosa is signed. Same with BA next year. No need to risk injury IMO, not when you're about to get a nice payday.

This would be an ideal Nick Bosa extension.

5-years, $35M a year, $35M signing bonus, a 2024 $15.125M option bonus that just spreads the money over 5-years, he'd be signed thru 2028, gets $112M GTD, $82M Fully GTD, tops everyone I believe, not sure on Donald's deal. $750K per game roster bonuses, $100K workout bonuses, year 2(2024) gets a $1.125M base.

Cap numbers for 2023 & 2024 would be $8.08M, and $12M, saves the team $9.779M in cap room this year, which can be used to carryover into 2024 when we need the money, had it not been for COVID, the cap would be $280M in 2024, now it'll likely be $256M-$260M.

Thanks, and I know 2024 looks bad on paper, but I liken it to 2022 when we were $20M over, still kept Azeez on 2nd rd tender, and signed Ward in FA, plus no guarantees Mitchell or Lenoir see the pay raises, they have to play a certain percent of the snaps, Banks should get it if he gets 60% or more.
