I'm a Taylor Swift fan now. LOL
AB, time to update the title!
This definitely feels like a delayed increase due to the down covid year.
Sign BA, and get a big fish in FA.

Compared to a previously optimistic estimate of $245.

$100m plus increase over 9 years. Impressive and why the NFL loves the commish. Streaming is just taking off.The trend should go up for the foreseeable future (maybe not this much though)

They're going to extend BA, Ward, Greenlaw and Huf.

And then they're going to sign a top 10 FA.

Only problem with that is now the other teams will have more money to sign their possible Free agents back.

A true premier UFA has zero incentive to sign with his team until after getting to FA. Even mid-tier UFAs will be tough to convince until they've tasted the market.

Jed can outspend anyone. He is always willing to put down massive upfront money. Players love it, and the cap loves it even more.

Yeah a higher salary cap helps every team but it clearly helps some teams more than others.

What's most significant: the Panthers having $120M in cap space instead of $105M, the Saints having -$15 in cap space instead of -$30M, or the 49ers having $20M in cap space instead of $5M? I made all these exact numbers up but you get the idea.
