Confirmed!! We have a well oiled machine here. Fans need to appreciate how Lynch and Co manage the cap to allow them to keep a competitive team year after year. This sets up nicely to be able to sign BA this year and Brock next year.

Thanks to @LombardiHimself for reaching out to me offline to point out the NFLPA cap-space numbers I cited earlier had not been updated from last season. Whoopsies. According to the last figures posted at @spotrac, the #49ers are $11.7 million under.

They don't need cap space to extend BA. Purdy's cap won't be massive for a couple years.
