Was looking at the best FAs left, he came in at 1. going off that list he or a rotational ER like Yannick or Ogbah could make sense

They'll probably use it to now extend Aiyuk or give CMC a raise. But I want Simmons, he'd probably only be here for 1 to 2 seasons so why not try to go all in.

I have the 49ers, before signing Ricky Pearsall, $31,614,836 under their adjusted cap for 2024, the CMC move saved $7.232 million in cap room in 2024, & $4.538 million in 2025.

Depending on his price tag I don't see an issue, Aiyuk extension should save close to $8m with a $25m signing bonus.

I could see Aiyuk's contract getting done, I could've sworn this time last season the 49ers didn't have anywhere near the cap space they have now.

They rolled a lot over from last year, extended/restructured some guy, and got like $18M from cutting armstead
