3.7 million. Wouldn't move needle much.

Would be post June 1st

I thought there was a massive dead money cap hit if he retired or was cut before his new 3 year deal was up?

There is. 35.7 mil. 39.4 to keep. So cutting him would clear 3.7 for 26.

If he plays out the string and goes after 26 it's a 21 mil hit to 27 cap.

Pretty much we are effed in any situation with Trent outside of him playing a handful more years. I think a lot will depend on how he feels this year and success we have (or don't have)

if we can get back to spankin ass and he's healthy, I can see him pulling off 2 more years but he pretty much forced the organization into a terrible contract

Always amazing work - much appreciated.

I just don't get the Robinson contract structure. So it's a 2 year deal with 3 void years for the bonus structure? I thought they were trying to minimize this type of activity. If the 49ers decline the option in year 2 (if they, I'm not familiar with these structures), do they get out of any of these bonuses?

Yeah me 2, I thought they would stop void years, unless in major deals like Kittle, Warner, Brock, & Jauan.

Yes if he's cut before the option bonus is due they can get out of the deal, I have a feeling Farrell's is similar, option bonus non-GTD.

I agree. The void years stuff is annoying and really only makes sense when you know you have an elite roster and are trying to plug holes etc. but obviously these aren't massive contracts.
2 more deals are in.

Luke Gifford - 1yr $1.8M, $1.2M base salary($300K fully GTD), $300K signing bonus, $200K per game roster bonus, $100K workout bonus, only a $1,788,235 cap number since he was active 16 games, so 16 of the 17 weeks count towards his per game roster bonus.

Tre Brown - 1yr $1.7M, $1.17M base salary($165K fully GTD), $135K signing bonus, $170K per game roster bonus, $25K workout bonus, only a $1.66M cap number since he was active for 13 games, so 13 of 17 weeks count towards his per game roster bonus.

Nothing on Mac Jones, Patrick Taylor Jr., Kyle Juszcyzk, Luke Farrell, & Siran Neal's deals, should note OTC has Taylor listed as $1.17M APY & $300K fully GTD, so it would seem Taylor got just a $1.17M deal, with $300K of that base salary fully GTD.

$43,395,122 under their adjusted cap before those 5 deals above.

Luke Farrell's terms are in.

$1.17M, $1.35M, & $1.69M base salaries, $4.32M signing bonus, two options bonuses($2.65M in 2026 & $2.94M in 2027), $510K per game roster bonuses, $50K workout bonuses.

Cap numbers are $2.594 million in 2025, $3.304 million in 2026, $4.232 million in 2027, and a $5.67 million dead money hit in 2028
New cap room before Mac Jones, Patrick Taylor Jr., Juice, & Siran Neal is $41,831,122, it's clear they plan on carrying over a ton of cap room into 2026.
What were the actual terms of Greenlaw's 3 / 35 deal ?

Ended up being 3yr $31.5M, so $10.5M APY, they tried to get him to pull out of his agreement, guess whatever we offered wasn't good enough, I would have done this deal, here's the breakdown on OTC, https://overthecap.com/player/dre-greenlaw/7939

I wish we could have convinced him to stay, and why we didn't offer a multi-year deal, he only got $11.5M fully GTD, just weird all around.
