Boxing needs this fight IMO to catapult Garcia or Davis into a must watch fighter .

Davis the older more experienced "bad boy" could be dangerous for Garcia I feel.
But Garcia is so easy and enjoyable to watch . He is so balanced, relaxed and fluid .
The young guy is sure to go far with so much natural ability.

Spot on, especially the relaxed part . He is never out of control and his counter timing with those left hooks is top level s**t
Yeah guys I think the sky is the limit with Ryan Garcia. The tools are all there. That fight would be awesome!

I love Iron Mike. The best raw talent in boxing history, unfortunately his demons ended his career short. The guys childhood was unreal. If only Cus D'amato didn't die. What could have been.

Sad fact of life also is that we all get older. In boxing the smarts improve as the youth and enthusiasm start to slow up. In some cases the head knocks also slow up the smarts. Can watch all the greats careers on you tube now but one thing that stands out to me is the way the real greats find another level when they should be down. These exceptional ones ( Ali in particular) just have huge motors inside them.
Still got it

George Foreman did it at 45. 53 is quite a leap
Not a lot would want to hold those mitts

He still generates so much torque and power on those body shots

Heavy Weight boxing has changed a lot since Foreman did it. Class is much weaker than back in the day.

I dunno man. Foreman fought some duds leading up to that Moorer title reclamation and kept cruising until he lost it to Shannon Briggs.

I think the top 3 hw dogs now would be much more of a problem.

A ferocious man inside the ring. No doubt. At all. His technique in the prime of his career was
so unlike all the bigger (taller) adversaries. Just came up from so low and connected with power through the whole hip and body. Those hits were so powerful. Most fights ended in 1. or 2 rds. Very unique fighter with unbelievable timing. No doubt a big fan
