Since my Stars are out, here is my order of rooting for teams in playoffs:
1. the Sharks, I'd love to see the Bay Area be even more hockey crazy. When the Stars won the cup, it was insane how much hockey grew in Dallas. It went from like 2 ice rinks in Dallas and now they are up to about 10 with a few in some malls.
2. Capitals - ummm..Ovechkin in the Stanley Cup Finals?!?! enough said.
3. Carolina - Erik Cole is one of my favorite players, I love the way this guy plays
4. NJ Devils - ohhh I hate the Devils, but Gionta and Parise are awesome.
5. Chicago - great to see them go deep, would do soooo much for the sport. Chicago deserves to be a serious hockey town but their team has been awful for so long.

If the sharks get knocked out, I would wanna see some teams (not detroit, boston, or habs go). To be honest, I would want a young team like the Hawks to win it or the Caps. If I had to pick, I would pick the hawks.*

Oilers look like they are out of the playoff race with their loss last night.

Blues and Ducks are tied with 88 points for the 7th and 8th spots. Preds(86pts) and Wild(85pts) are both still in the playoff hunt.

Florida(89) is behind NY(91) by 2 points for the 8th spot.
Rangers looked real good last night. If they get in, teams better watch out.

Rangers are indeed looking pretty good lately.
God I hope the Wings win tonight... They beat Nashville in reg time, Blues just need a measley point to clinch
Got myself Van first playoff home game ticks...SWEEETTTTTTT!

Bobby Lue will lead us to the cup!
Preds down 2-5

Blues up 2-0 over Columbus

Ducks are in with a win or preds lost.

The Blue Jackets may be a potential 8th seed if they lose their last two games (they would be tied with St.Louis with wins, not sure where the tie-breaker goes)

I can't wait to see what Rick Nash can do in the playoffs
Preds are out, Blues are in at this point.

The ducks sit at 8 with two games to go, they have to at least force OT in any of those games to get to the playoffs. I think they win both.

So we got the locks for the playoffs....

East:
Bruins
Capitals
Devils
Flyers
Hurricanes
Penguins
Rangers
Canadiens

West:
Sharks
Red Wings
Canucks
Blackhawks
Flames
Blue Jackets
Ducks
Blues

Last couple of games will be jockeying for position. Sharks win the Presidents Trophy with either a win or tie.
Any Flames fans on here? Two things

1) You guys got the young BlackHawks, who took the season series
Blackhawks win 4-0
Nov 9: at Blackhawks 6, Flames 1
Dec 19: Blackhawks 3 at Flames 2 (OT)
Jan 4: at Blackhawks 5, Flames 2
Feb 5: Blackhawks 5 at Flames 2

2) f**k the Flames
Well, I think I can safely say I won my fantasy league as long as Ovechkin doesn't score 50 goals in a game. It kinda sucked though, it was an ESPN public league and only like 3 other teams paid attention.

My top players:
Zach Parise (6th round pick)
Mike Green (5th roun pick)
Alexandre Burrows (first week free agent pick up)
Eric Staal (2nd round pick)
Heatley and Spezza (1st and 3rd round pick)

I switched my goalies pretty often, I had Luongo, Miller and Turco. Turco had a bad year and Luongo and Miller both got injured.
