pretty sure they lost because the Rangers really really suck

And who might your team be?
Boy do Rangers fans love blaming the officials/officiating.

The reason you lost is because you guys can't score goals. That is why you were the #7 team coming into the playoffs. Your offense is terrible.

You guys can come up with all the excuses you want but your team just had to win once in three games to advance and they couldn't get the job done.

the Stars, whatever that has to do with the Rangers vs. Capitals...

but come on man, the Rangers were getting so outplayed in the last few games, they couldn't even skate with the Capitals. Lundqvist was the whole team.

Short lived series. But this game was a ton of fun. Game 5 Sharks v Ducks

Oh don't get wrong, I agree with you for the most part. We got completely outplayed in the last few games. However, there were some calls that were absolutely botched. Twice during the game Avery was taken done in front of the refs (one time an opposing player grabbed his throat on the way down), plus there were a distinct slash that was not called in the 3rd period, along with an interference call that was missed in the second. But, excuses are like a*****es....everyone has them and they stink. W.e. I hope we sign a player in the off-season who can actually score. We have a solid young nucleus though!

The Stars...I won't even comment
^^^Rangers got a goalie to build around. Players are relatively easier to come by (see Vancover).

Canucks are not that good of a team, imo. They rely too much on luongo, if they were in the pacific or central division all year, they would have a hard time making the playoffs.

thats what I was saying, that with a good goalie you can have a sub-par team and still have some success

Julien might because his team is still in the playoffs.

Do hockey awards continue consideration throughout the playoffs?
boston bruins look unstoppable

Detroits 1st game against hiller, they got 3 goals.
Bettman what a ass.He finally gets his dream matchup(ovechkin vs crosby) and he lets nbc schedule it for at saturday afternoon at 1:00pm.Come on really who's going to be around to watch that normally nevermind on the first saturday in may which is not only kentucky derby day but it's communion day also.He couldn't tell nbc to put it on in primetime.Seriously what does nbc have on on a saturday night that they couldn't do that.Best of all i am hoping that the game goes in to overtime or double overtime because if it does nbc will leave it to go to the kentucky derby. If this happens maybe that will be enough to get bettman fired.Boy there would be alot of angry pens and caps fans if this happens.Man i am praying for double overtime.
