Its the goalie coach, he made Roy, he made Giguere, and now he made Hiller. The Goalie Coach is King of the Butterfly.

he is playing crazy he has faced a lot of shots so far too.who would've thought Giguere would be on the bench too.
Detroit got absolutely ROBBED in this game. That was disgusting. AWFUL call. That should NEVER happen. And this sort of play needs to become reviewable so this NEVER happens again.

I am not even a Redwing fan and I was appalled and sickened by the blown whistle and no-goal call when the puck was so wide open out there on the ice and Jonas clearly having no clue where it was, nor was making any attempt to cover it.

If that happened to the Sharks I would still be screaming my face off now about it.

WOOO. Go Canucks! 3-0 up on Chicago now in the 2nd half of the 2nd period now.

Looks like Bernier has settle in.

Somehow, that trade doesn't seem too good now. :(

Lost: Bernier, 1st round pick, and eventually Campbell too to FA.
Gained: Campbell briefly until playoff loss to Dallas, which ironically ended on a Dallas PP given by a Campbell penalty..

Same thing happened Game 4 between Van/STL.. STL banged in a loose puck in the crease, but the play was called dead cuz the ref lost the puck too... Only worse thing was in that situation, the ref didnt even BLOW his whistle. He 'INTENDED' to. Instead of a 3-2 game in the 3rd, it ended up going to OT and Van sealed the deal

If you got the replay and see the puck is loose and jammed in, it should be a goal.. No ifs/ands/buts about it.. You have replay to get it right. Puck is loose which is live then banged in, there for its a goal, regardless of what the ref saw/didnt see, intended/unintended to do. Its a BAD rule and could come back to haunt Detroit. They owned that period and had a hard earned goal taken away

Phoenix to Southern Ontario??

They should be bringing back the Jets!!!

IMO, its a good idea. Hockey is a lost cause in the desert. They shouldnt have moved the Jets in the 1st place. Any city in Canada will provide 10x the crowd, support and $$ than the best days in Phoneix... I think Bettman will be too thick headed to admit he made a mistake taking them down there in the 1st place, to bring them back up

My Fav team until they stripped them of it.. Had to jump on the Great Ones team for that year and ride them out for good.. The Winged Note!

yeah and then come next yr during the season he'll just be average. oh well if the ducks somehow get by the wings it just makes it some what easier on the sharks. i just hope vancouver beats them and lose to the caps or the canes

I think the ducks have proven they are for reals.

Watching Rookies like Ryan make me even more eager to see what Couture and Petrecki can do.

i hope both of them make an impact like ryan but ryan was the 2nd overall pick for a reason and now hes showing it. the thing the ducks have over pretty much every team is defense, when you can throw on the ice dmen like 2 future hall of famers niedermayer and pronger and then throw out very solid dmen like whitney and beauchamin you can even add wisniewski on there too and you have 5 great to good dmen. even though this team only has 1 line their other lines as well as their 1st grinds out hard for ALL 60 mins and get under opponents skins something we cant do at times for even 20-40 mins. add to the fact when you have a damn goalie who all of a sudden come playoff time is nearly unstoppable is the reason why this damn team upset the pres trophy winners and giving the defending cup champs fits.

i will go absolutely nuts if this team finds out to reach the cup finals or even win it after all the crap they went through this season and practically giving up key players in trades
