Seriously, WTH? Are you Lakers fans purposely staying mum on the Spurs/Lakers game tonight only to be prepared for full smack talk AFTER the game, IF, and that's a big IF, you miraculously win?

Smack talking is no fun after the fact.

You guys are turning yella with your tail between your legs.

You just now figuring out their MO? Funny, I brought up this same point and they come out of the woodwrok. After they win of course.

No class I tell ya...no class.

Imagine if they didn't have Kobe, that arena would be empty and there wouldn't even be an Official Lakers thread.

Considering that we're done playing Boston, Cleveland, & Orlando and have a 23 game lead in the Western Conference, I'm frankly kind of bored with the regular season. The only thing I'm looking forward to is Bynum's return. Otherwise, I'm ready for the playoffs. If we beat the Spurs...meh. If we lose...meh. Especially considering that it's once again on the 2nd night of a back to back. It's not a scenario that's applicable to the playoffs.

The only reason that we give a rat's ass about Houston is because of the massive quantities of crap that Hollywood talks.

So if we talk more crap you'll care more?

Let me rephrase...if you talk more crap I will take more pleasure in rubbing your nose in it when you lose to us.

Do you guys know why the Spurs win every other year? They usually have a veteran filled roster but those guys get old and they load up with some fresh legs in the even year only to have those fresh legs completely fit in during the 2nd year.

The Spurs younger players are really coming around this year and they look very confident and are all playing well.

Or maybe because there was no talent in the East

Nah, we had to take care of Detroit for you guys the following year.

How about the Knicks? or the Cavs? both had no business being in the Finals...

I'm confused. Let's take a look at the "young" players recently added to the Spurs.

2006 offseason: Bonner (28)

2007 offseason: Udoka (31)

2008 offseason: Mason (28), Hill (22), Hairston (22)

Mason, Hill, and Hairston are in their first season with the Spurs.

Young is relative. One man's MILF is another man's gold digging trophy wife.

Well, no Manu, and Scrotum is back . . . maybe Spurs win, maybe Spurs lose.

I always like seeing the Lakers lose.

Go Spurs Go.

Wait Manu isn't playing? So you are telling me he won't be hitting impossible half court shots at the end of 2 of 4 quarters?

We still had to beat the West to get there. Saying the East was weak means nothing. It's like people saying it was meaningless that we played the Chargers in the Super Bowl.

Nah, Manu has a case of Machinitis and can't play tonight.

Were you guys at full strength for that series? I know that we were falling apart by the time the Finals came around when we played them.

The Lakers are the best team in the Association. I need not say more.

Good game boys! But we all knew what the outcome would be...

Kobe should have pulled out the big balls dance!!
