Kobe should have pulled out Sam Cassell's big balls dance!!

Fixed.

Yeah, because Sam has much bigger baller's balls than Kobe muthafuquin Bryant.

Kobe took George Hill to Colorado on that 3.

It's safe to say that if you have George Hill guarding Kobe at the end of the game, things are not going to go well for your team.

The mothers of San Antonio received us with warm and eager mouths this evening, in accordance with the prophecy.

The Spurs suck... get over it.. they aren't winning a championship. Joecool is probably sitting at home like "seriously these guys probably are buying into the bulls**t i am feeding them about my team that is terrible"

Yeah go home and cry. we are better and the Spurs are dead... You needed Michael Finley to score 30 points to lose... thats pretty pathetic... times 2

You hear that? Listen closely...

You needed huge shots from Kobe to beat us without Manu.
As you all know, I talk smack before the game and win or lose, I don't talk smack after the game, I analyze the game.

For those who feel it wiser to talk smack AFTER the fact, well, you are probably still looking for your balls.

Man, after having played Houston and being in a higher gear, the Lakers came out firing and the Spurs were playing in regular season speed. I knew Phil Jackson would use his fall back and collapse the key once again against the Spurs. Even if Parker flinched, the entire Lakers squad would take a step into the key. Same thing against Duncan.

The first quarter killed the Spurs. Jackson also stuck true to his forcing Parker to the corners and trapping him or forcing him to drive baseline with the team collapsing all passing lanes. However, the Lakers do crowd the ball carrier where the ball carrier doesn't even have room to pivot. Popovic is always one step behind Phil. The Lakers were playing over aggressive defense and Pop did not advise his players that double moves would get LA in foul trouble.

Foul shots and turnovers. Spurs missed some key foul shots at opportune times and the 1st quarter turnovers killed them.

Either way, we played like crap, you guys played at near top level and it still took a Kobe freak three at the end of the game to close it. If anything, the Spurs gained more confidence from this game knowing they can beat the Lakers if it weren't for that abysmal 1st quarter. Having said that, the Spurs can always guarantee one terrible quarter.
That was as much trash talking as you will ever get from me because I was hammered at the time haha

Ok... Michael Finley would have never scored 30 points with Manu in the lineup. So there you go. We beat you without Bynum if you are goin to play that game.

Bynum will probably never be what you hope him to be. I used to think he would be awesome. No more.

Bynum was dominating when he got hurt. Absolutely dominating. Plus, he's easily our best interior defender.

And LOL at you guys saying, "You guys wouldn't have won if Kobe didn't hit big shots in crunch time!!". That's like me saying, "You guys wouldn't have won if Tim Duncan didn't go for 25 & 13 against us!"

It's the fact that Kobe NEEDED to make those shots, when the Spurs were playing without Manu.

This is the Bynum narrative: Bynum plays well for a few good games, people gush that he's a great interior defender, and then he gets hurt. Hurt bad.

If he can get some stem-cell miracle to fix those knees, then maybe he'll be good.

The Lakers were playing the 2nd night of a back to back on the road against the 2nd best team in the Western Conference (after beating the 3rd best team on the road the night before) & perennial contender without their best interior defender, trailed that team for a combined total of 15 seconds...and somehow the Lakers were disappointing last night because you guys didn't have Manu?

Were you guys expecting the Spurs to just crawl in a hole and die without him?

As for Bynum, both injuries were contact injuries. And we were lucky that the 2nd one wasn't an ACL. A 215lb. man crashed awkwardly in his knee when his feet were planted. That's not a matter of fragility, that's a matter of basic physics.

I haven't mentioned Manu, but he IS our strongest scorer. Look at the Lakers without Pao or Kobe.
