Because Lakers fans don't sing those songs. They can't even show up to games on time because they are getting hair plugs, hair done, manicure or pedicure along with their eyebrows waxed.

I had the brew, she had the chronic...the Lakers beat the......Thunder?

That's the worst part of the move.

Tim Duncan messed around and got a triple double. He will need to play at this level in order to get deep into the playoffs.

I think he only got a double double. He did take one of his knee braces off, which I hope is a good sign.

Parker played well, again. His defense actually looked decent. Gooden played VERY well.

It looks like Pop is taking JV out of the rotation. (I hope so, anyway.) Mason will likely get more minutes in place of Manu. Hopefully, Hill and Bowen get more time, too.

I know, I just think he's going to need to get at least near triple doubles if they want to make the finals.

JV needs to stay out of the lineup. He can't control a team when he's out there and it really stunts the offense during the playoffs when he's in.

I am totally perplexed as to how Jacque Vaughn has stayed in the league for this long, much less in a rotation on a good team. Hill & Mason should DEFINITELY be getting those minutes.

JV is a good practice player, apparently. A strong veteran presence. He must be worth something to this team, because Pop loves him.

I suspect that Hill and Mason will get more time at PG. If Pop is smart and pushes a defensive lineup in the absence of Manu, Hill will see a ton of action.

I hear the Spurs are looking to sign Marcus Williams. Hopefully, they're going to cut JV.

I'd like to see us go back to our roots and play solid defense. Worst case scenario, Hill gets some solid playoff experience.

I think it's unavoidable. With the loss of Manu, the Spurs have lost some offensive firepower. Short of Tony Parker playing like an MVP and Tim Duncan's knees healing, the Spurs will need to rely on defense to win. Which means more Bowen and Hill, less Finley and Bonner and Oberto. (I think Pop has been resting Bowen.)

I also think we're going to see a lot of Gooden and Mason. Those two guys provide some offense without being serious liabilities on defense.

Basically, the main guys will be Duncan, Parker, Bowen, Mason, and Gooden. With contributions from Hill, Udoka, Finley, Thomas, and Oberto.

It's not pretty. We'll see if anyone steps up.

I think our roots involved two 7-footers. I'm not sure if we would be able to go back there. We were even better with Nasir at Center.

I think Pop should be looking at playing more zone as we do have solid and disciplined perimeter defenders.

And let's get Duncan the damn ball again.

There are some things Pop just doesn't know and it has nothing to do with the whiteboard. When our team is shooting 60% and Duncan barely has an touches, we are up by 10 starting the 4th quarter and Pop won't change what we are doing kills me a lot of times.

Our guys go cold and Pop keeps trying to force the plays that were working in the first 3 quarters. What he doesn't do is feed Duncan the moment it looks like the role players are ready to go into a drought.

Phil Jackson has always taught his star player when to score and when to sit back. Jordan and Kobe have always been great at getting those 2 points at the right times throughout a game when it looks as if the offense needs them to. Pop, he rarely forces touches on Duncan.
Tim Duncan looked so OLD tonight.

Playing against the best, young talent in the league will do that to you.
I hope the Spurs get down to the 6th spot and NO, Portland, and Houston all move up.

Then the Spurs will not play the Lakers or NOH until the Conference Finals. That would be a much easier first two rounds against inexperienced teams.

I hope the Spurs meet the Blazers in the first round. The Blazers would get into the second round quickly and have plenty of time to be rested for the following series.

You guys won't know what hit you, literally!!! Your athleticism will be neutralized by the physical play and slow game. That's why I will take experience over a young team in the playoffs more times than not.

Tony Parker is going to have to score 40 points a night for you to have a shot. No disrespect to Tim, but he is done. He had a great career, first ballot HOFer - but the end has arrived.
