Yes, Shaquille O'Kilmer...he is a Hall of Famer. If his leg falls off in a tragic lumberyard accident this summer, it doesn't change the fact that Shaq had a Hall of Fame level guard in 2006.

You are correct though. It would be cheaper to just pay one guy $30M instead of paying three guys $29M and win a championship. Especially when you didn't lead the team to a championship the previous two years. And nobdoy rode your ass to an additional 4-5 championships, despite having a HOF level guard next to you in Miami...and HE carried YOU to the one title you did win.
