I think it's safe to call him Werthless now. Manuel obviously thought he was a much better pitch hit option than Pablo who has only hit 7-8 HR's to put the Giants ahead. He's not clutch or anything.

You're tripping James. I don't think it's a homerish statement to say that Pablo is better than Youkilis, when he's six years younger and putting up better stats across the board.

I wouldnt say he is better right now. I would say that he has put up slightly better numbers in a harder park to hit in and that there is no chance in hell we would ever trade Pablo for Youkilis. I think thats a safe statement.

Yeah, that is fair. I wouldn't trade Sandoval for Youkilis..but to say hes a better player already is ludicrous.

NL might have won if Pujols hasnt sucked so bad. Makes an error letting in run and then is pathetic at the plate. Fricking Cardinal.

Don't blame all this on Albert.

why not

he cost that guy a car too

closer game than i expected

not just a car. Also cost him the chance to throw the first pitch at the world series.

Yeah, Albert sucks

lol seriously. "Hey, no pressure Albert."

Nah, no pressure at all.

So age is an issue on basing talent? We're not talking about building a team here, we're talking about who is the better talent.

Sandoval will not finish with better numbers then Youkilis..and you can quote me on that..the Giants lineup isn't going to be able to continue to protect Sandoval the way they have been so far. Teams will adjust to Sandoval's success. Youkilis has proven hes at the level of putting up those consistent numbers.

consider yourself qouted.
well that was a snooze fest

This is a SF Board, right now Pablo is second coming of Babe Ruth, don't even bother arguing james.

Fine with me.

No way is Sandoval going to have a better year then Youkilis. Youkilis plays in a MUCH better lineup that will eventually put Youkilis ahead.

I agree honestly. I don't think he's a better player yet but down the road i think he will be. Let Pablo play more than one full season before you can say he's better than a guy that should have won the AL MVP last year.

I understand there may be some bias, but ever since they made the "Vote for Pablo" thread, its gotten a little crazy around here.

The guys a good player..I neve said he wasn't. But come on now.
Geezus.. I fell asleep.. Can the NL win one? Ever?

Agreed..Pedroia wasn't the best player in the AL or even his own team.
