Riley has been awful today. Some of the blame is on poor protection, but even when he's had time he has just been way off the mark.

I don't wanna make excuses, but it has been pretty windy and all the deep balls had more hang time so that may be part of the problem.

Riley is not only a terrible QB, I think the Cal coordinators and coaches have been outcoached as well. How many times, did the CB's play back 10 yards when Oregon ran bubble screens? How many times did they leave their TE uncovered. Alot of dumb playcalls on offense as well. Is it a sin to run Jahvid Best on more than 1 carry per drive? How many times do we punt when we are in their side of the 50? On a 3rd and 3, what kind of D did they call? Answer = nickle with 5 in the box. just plain stupid coaches. I'm talking about early in the game.

I just don't see how it's possible that anyone in the PAC10 can overlook a road game @ Oregon; record be damned.

My thoughts exactly.

As a Pac-10 fan in general and wishing for national success, I have no idea what to hope for any more. I guess USC to win out and top 10 teams to lose.
