The pac 10 is turning into the nfc east--teams just beating the crap outta each other with nothing to really show for it.

My precious pac 10 is tearing each other apart.
At this pace no team in the conference will get a shot at the national title.
My thoughts exactly.
As a Pac-10 fan in general and wishing for national success, I have no idea what to hope for any more. I guess USC to win out and top 10 teams to lose.
I think this kind of attitude is strange. As a Texas fan, I would never root for Oklahoma or Texas Tech or Kansas or Nebraska or Mizzou or any other Big 12 team.
I'm with dopo. I've NEVER rooted for usc, on any level, as a "PAC10 representative." That's like rooting for the Cowpies over an AFC team, the dodgers over an AL team, or lakers over and EC team- NEVER. NO FKN WAY. NO FKN HOW.

People can say this was a trap game all they want but when it comes down to it, I honestly don't think CAL overlooked Oregon. They just got their asses handed to them on a Golden platter. Kevin Riley was horrible missing receivers who were not open. I have never seen so many 3 & outs ever. Once Oregon found out Riley sucked ass, they threw everyone in the box and stopped Jahvid. I don't know what Ludwig is thinking. JAHVID IS NOT A POWER BACK. PLease get the ball in his hands and get him to the outside where he is most dangerous. Our defense got torn a new one by a TE and a mobile QB. Our D is set up to not give up the big play so what did Oregon do? They proceeded to get 10-15 yds. every play. this is all I will say for now, more to come later

things that really pissed me off about todays loss:
We had the chance to take the crowd out and possibly own the game in the first 10 minutes. Fumble on the kickoff (got 3 points = fine) and then the fumble on Oregons next possession (which we gave them right back).
Bone-headed plays: The two fumbles (which occurred when we had just recovered a fumble), and some key penalties (Tucker's unsportsmanlike and a face mask).

The story of Riley's career: Outstanding in OOC games, s**tty in conference games
I won't even comment on this game, much the same like that Giants' loss in Colorado in extra innings when we were up 3 runs, I really rather just put this behind.
Truth is, we still have a legit shot at the Rose because Oregon will lose at least 2 games in conference, so regardless of this loss next week's game vs USC is still HUGE, HUGE!
To add insult to injury, mi 1A team (Miami) also got their asses handed to them

After yesterdays performance, they get the ranking they deserve. If they beat USC next weekend, they will jump right back into the top-15 IMO

Just be happy they are ranked. I believe polls should be more volatile until midseason.
