i think your spirit is shattered, and those dumbass students are just showing there anger for the tuition increase. i wish irvine had that kinda spirit, cuz of this tuition increase i might have to commute next year, killing the whole college experience for me
No, I'm convinced they're just rioting for the sake of it. They were all smiling while other students look so frustrated. On top of that, they hijacked multiple buildings, set off fire alarms, were arrested, and so on. I can understand complaining outside admissions, but these guys are morons. Preventing other students from going to class is just retarded.

Yes I do, and I'm not dumb enough to get arrested either. Imagine that.
well congratulations on being able to pay whatever amounts of money that UC wants to charge you without sweating it.
Those protests are legit, and again, your feelings towards that has nothing to do with this football team

Protests are legit? Yeah, stopping other students from going anywhere is SO going to help anything. Rally outside admissions, you know, maybe complain to the people that actually control these decisions? Revolutionary concept, I know.

I have to agree with blunt. They stopped over 3800 students from going to class, some people want to learn. I support the protests but they should have done it differently.

word, some people have actual responsibilities and want to be in class. keeping out those who paid for it is not the way to change things. instead talk to the people that charge the fees.

i guess, but they've tried every type of protest possible and it hasn't wotked. i keep getting facebook invites for writing to the UC regents, rallies and all sorts of things that aren't working. might as well step it up a notch, it might not be a big deal to some people, but this is like an extra 3 grand for tuition for the year. f**kIN BULLs**t

I don't buy it. They could have easily made the same impact without going nuts. I think they're just trigger happy since this is Berkeley afterall.
