No doubt. It was the only reason that Toronto would let him go for nothing. Their GM and ownership gave Rios WAY too much money and it came back to bite them.

God I wish someone would bail the Giants out of Zito's contract

It frees the Jays up money to try and re-sign Doc this offseason.....
