Half the time I'd rather watch the kids play than the Major Leaguers play. I think it's amazing to see what they've accomplished and the skill many of these kids have at such a young age.

I put myself in their shoes, and then it's an easy choice. They deserve that small shot at fame, and I know I sure as heck would've loved to have the same kind of recognition if I was playing out there at that level.

So, yes.

Yeah but there are thousands of kids out there with just enough talent but aren't little rich spoiled kids like the ones they show on t.v.

I think that's an unfair generalization to say or imply that all of those kids are like that.

What I'm saying is like how do these kids even get into the competion when there are thousands of others with the same or more skill level just that they have less money. Forget it though, i'm just jealous
I think it should be televised. It draws international teams/interest and is backed by a large contingent of sponsors during the commercial breaks. It gives kids all over the world a lofty goal which only a small percentage will achieve. Even with the small number of teams that make it to Williamsport, it is also a reward for the kids and their parents who devote countless hours and a lot of money for the cause. I have a lot of respect for those families who devote that much to spend quality time together and promote a healthy lifestyle for their kids whether they make it to Williamsport or not.
hell to the no. and i hate when they include their plays in the sportscenter top 10
i can't stand the LLWS and i can't believe the crowd it draws. I understand the parents going to the games cause their kids are playing. Why in the hell are people going that aren't related to these kids? Are they that bored that they would go watch 12 year old kids play baseball?

Get that s**t off television...what's really sad is the LLWS is better televised than the olympics
I'd rather watch LLWS than the world series of poker or Nascar...those aren't sports and they don't deserve to be on TV

At least they have some athletes in Little League
my son is 6 and we watch it together.. I find it easier to walk him through learning the game when he can somewhat relate to the kids that are playing...now that one kid from cali that is like 6'2 200, seems a little wrong to me.. even if he is the same age as the other kids, it just looks unusual to see him on the mound or smashing HR's
