Lebron Motherf**king James...took it to another level.
He definitely did at the end, but he certainly has the luxury of not being the best player on the court half of the time.
Just like with any team with great players, you don't have to be great all the time - which is what he had to be with Cavs.
Exactly...
Kind of like Kobe rode Shaq's coat tails to the first 3.
Ya, and Shaq got the shine for it too.
That's what makes this funny. D-Wade was the best player on the court in 4 out of the 5 games in this series, and yet it's just folks fawning over LeBron with almost no mention of Wade at all.
Wade is an outstanding player. I think that was the point of the Big 3 coming toghther...
Individually they are outstanding but together they are a formadible team. And that has been true this far in the playoffs.
Wade is a great scorer. And I'd rather have the ball in his hands at the end of the game if it was up to me. But what you aren't taking into account is the steals, blocked shots, rebounds, defense, passing and scoring of Lebron. Without any question Lebron is the best player on that team. Wade is a great scorer and perhaps more clutch at the end. At least Wade won't dribble the ball off his foot at the end...
But he is nowhere near the same guy for steals, blocked shots, rebounds and passing that Lebron is. Lebron helps you in all aspects of the game. Granted Wade can be a great defender when he puts his mind to it. He can move his feet quickly and is a tremendous athlete and has enough length to match up with most guards. He can make an ocassional steal himself too. But clearly he is not the overall player Lebron is. Lebron is #1 and Wade is top 5.
