That's why they'll be trading Jameer for a back-up big man.

Redick doesn't hold the same value as Jameer, plus his offer from the Bulls was matched, meaning he can't be traded without his consent for up to one year. Gilbert will start at point guard, and that leaves you with 3 backup PGs in Nelson, Duhon and J-Will. The only one that could net back a big man is Jameer. If I were Otis Smith, I'd be on the phone with Sacramento trying to land Dalembert for frontcourt help.

Jameer, Q-Rich and Brandon Bass for Dalembert and Jason Thompson. I think that's a deal both teams could live with. Sacramento gets a Point Guard who's a step up from Beno and a slight upgrade at the back-up PF, and the Magic get 2 decent big men in return.

Ya that'd be a solid deal, but I don't see the need for a big man YET. I wanna see how Howard, Bass, Allen, Clark, Anderson all do together. Plus I'm sure there are plenty FA big men we can sign.

for the record Van Gundy just said that Jameer will not be coming off the bench. Gilbert, Hedu or J-Rich will

Although, it sure would be nice to have Fran Vazquez right about now. Haha

I like the trades. Lewis and Carter are going downhill and we get two solid consistent scorers in Agent 0 and Richardson. Unforutnately we still have to eat Shard's bloated contract.
