He's done great in the 2nd round but he kills us in the 1st especially when he lets go of promising players like Maynor just to save money. Most of those guys on that list arent even in the league anymore. Its just ridiculous.

It's pretty pathetic, but it's also hard to build through the draft in basketball. A lot of it has to do with guys you trade for or sign in FA.
Anyway, I just really hope we don't add Fredette to that list of draft picks. I want a guy like Barnes(if he declares) or Jordan Hamilton. We need a SG first, then we can worry about SF if we don't sign AK again.

I can't stand Utah Jazz fan boards. The whiniest bunch of people you'll ever see. They b*tched for years about Boozer and look were that got us.
Now we're in a complete rebuild. I don't have a problem with KOC. You can't argue with his 2nd round picks and Williams, Maynor and Brewer were all good picks 1st round picks as well. It's not like he's whiffing on every pick. The problem is we can't afford to go into the luxury tax and a couple of bad contracts put us in it.

Lost 16 of our last 21 games I believe. This is just pathetic. Why did we fire Sloan again? Ugh...

Really? I havent had a chance to watch any of the games he's coached so far I'm not sure if he's doing a good or bad job of coaching so far.

Eh, how so? The ownership crying and begging him to stay, and KOC with a grumpy scowl on his face after sloan refused to change his mind doesn't seem like "forcing out" to me.
Hes almost 70 years old. I think he was going to leave soon anyways. They probably
even told him they were going to trade Williams. It wasn't about that confrontation.

I was just watching the game against the Celtics last night, and he was complaining about everything.

The Utah Jazz announced today that the team has signed head coach Tyrone Corbin to a multi-year contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.
“I am confident that Tyrone is the right man to lead this team into the future. He is someone with longstanding ties to the Jazz and this community, and who has embraced the core philosophies and ideals this organization holds true. I feel that his character and leadership qualities will be true assets to the Jazz moving forward for many years to come,” said Greg Miller, CEO of the Utah Jazz.
“I am really excited about the opportunity to lead the Jazz, and to get to follow a legendary figure like Coach Sloan,” said Tyrone Corbin. “I am truly grateful that the Miller family has the confidence in me to allow me to lead this team into a new era.”
Corbin was named head coach of the Jazz on February 10 following the resignation of Jerry Sloan.
