Ive never seen a Jazz team play so lazy on offense and defense. Its so pathetic., they just act like they're going through the motions.

A lot of it has to do with Corbins style. He allows them to go freely on offense more often, where as Sloan had a system they ran most of the time. After they have an offseason to work things out, they should play a lot better.
Also, they're just going through the motions, with the exception of Jefferson. Big Al is killing it lately. Only problem is that we don't have anybody who can consistently create shots for themselves. We need to get someone in the draft that can do this. Everyone is so used to playing in a system, it's hard for them to play freely.
Anyway, Favors and Hayward got 8 and 7 minutes each.

Yeah I never got to see Favors, Hayward or Evans play tonight. I didnt see that the game was on WGN until the 3rd quarter and hardly did any subs in the 2nd half. I was really looking forward to seeing Favors too. I sure hope they play a lot better after an offseason in the system though cuz what I saw tonight was horrible especially letting them shoot 56% from downtown on 31 tries. There's no excuse for that kinda defense especially since the only real post player we played with in the 2nd half was Al everyone else were wings.

Everyone shoots well from the 3 against us. Its been like that all year. We allow so many open shots it's pathetic.
Favors and Hayward need more PT. It;s the only way they'll gain confidence. I saw one play where they went to Favors in the post, and he frantically looked for someone to pass it to. He has so much talent, but he needs to gain confidence.

Yeah I hope they get more pt. I dont know how they can keep these guys on the bench after Evans and Hayward did a pretty good job last night.

I don't care anymore...we need good draft picks next year. We have big Al and some decent players in Millsap, Harris, and Ak. We need to add some impact players. We're full of role players and we need some game-changers

CJScary to see what happens if he can ever shoot his jump shot consistently. Glad to see Bell out of the starting lineup as well. Hopefully it stays that way.

Yeah no kidding thats been my fear with him too and is another reason why we gotta get another point guard that can score off the bench. Watson and Price aren't gonna cut it after the season although Watson would be a nice 3rd PG next year.

Well D-Will may be out for the rest of the year to rest his wrist so hopefully the Nets start losing a ton of games to help us out with their pick.

I think we'll end up picking in the 5-8 range with that pick, and 13/14 with our own pick. I've recently started to like Terrence Jones from Kentucky. He is the kind of scorer we need at SF. He has great size, and great range as well. Also, if Brandon Knight was there at our second pick, I wouldn't mind him either. I think that after Irving, he will be the best PG coming out of this draft.

Sounds good to me! That would fill two big needs for us.

Quote:Hopefully this is the end of Bell geting more then 25 minutes a game!
As the Jazz embark on an important road trip with huge playoff implications, coach Tyrone Corbin said he plans to keep C.J. Miles in the starting lineup instead of Raja Bell, who had started all season when he was healthy. Miles responded to his starting role with two solid games last week, including a sensational 40-point outing Wednesday night in the win over Minnesota.
Corbin said he made the switch because he wanted a quicker start for his team and because he feels Miles can contribute more in a starting role.
"Hopefully it gets us off to a better start," Corbin said. "We lost so many games in a row there and we were giving up so many points early in the game, we just needed a change. C.J. gets more minutes on the floor (as a starter) and gets a chance to get off right from the beginning of the game. His numbers certainly indicate that he's better as a starter
