Millsap had a solid game coming off the bench last night. We still lost, but I like our core group. We'll see how this offseason turns out

Ty cost us the game last night. All he had to do was tell Millsap to miss the 2nd free throw.

Millsap has done well since coming back, I just wish we had a decent outside game to take the pressure off.

Yeah whatever happened to him popping 3s like he did against Miami? Seems like he has barely attempted any since that game.

Al Jefferson has been killing it lately. February and March his averages are at about 24 points, 10.5 rebounds. He played a little soft early this year, but hes been on fire as of late. I think he's back to his 08-09 form, when he averaged 23 and 11. Also, he's averaging 2 blocks a game. Next year will be fun to watch depending on who we add around him

Hayward - 37 minutes 12 pts 4 rebs 4 asts 2 stls 2 blks 1 to
Favors - 23 minutes 11 pts 10 rebs 3 blks
Plus Evans helped us a lot in the 4th. I hope Corbin keeps it up with the rooks' playing time.

The rookies brought us back late in the game, but turnovers by Evans and Hayward essentially lost us the game. Ty will be letting them get plenty of PT now. Jefferson wasn't too happy after the game at all. I guess the last 3 games he has refused to talk to reporters.

After watching Brandon Knight the last few games, I think we would be lucky to get him at 6. He'll probably be the youngest player in the draft if he comes out, but I think that after a year behind Harris, he'll be perfect for our team. He's confident in his shot, can drive the lane, and comes up big late in games. Another thing, he doesn't hold the ball for too long. I think if we can land him and a guy like Vesely we'll be fine.

Quote:
Al Jefferson left Monday's overtime loss with 54 seconds remaining in the third period and Tyrone Corbin never reinserted him into the game.
Corbin was asked if there is an issue with Jefferson, but the Utah coach said he believed the younger group had earned the right to finish the game.
“The young guys were playing well,” Corbin said. “They played hard and I thought they deserved to be on the floor.”
But Jefferson clearly isn't happy at the moment. In the four past games, Jefferson has issued three no-comments to reporters and also was ejected on Saturday.
Jefferson left the arena without speaking to reporters following the game.
Great Ty get our best player pissed. Thats just what we need. You arrogant f**k

I really like Millsap playing SF. I hope that this offseason he can shed a bit of weight and stay there. Having Al at center, Favors at PF, and Millsap at SF would be real nice. Of course, we would REALLY need a legit SG and PG

I think Harris is good. Would Millsap be able to keep up with other small forwards?

Well I guess if you didn't expect that, you must not have watched the Jazz the last 2 months... Arghhhhhh. Oh well thank goodness for the better draft spot we may be earning. And at least NJ sucks just as bad as we do so it's all good once this season is over.
I think our core is decent as far as rebuilding. If we can add a legit piece via draft we could be an alright team here withing a couple years. Still have a lot of questions though.
