I really like Millsap playing SF. I hope that this offseason he can shed a bit of weight and stay there. Having Al at center, Favors at PF, and Millsap at SF would be real nice. Of course, we would REALLY need a legit SG and PG

I think Harris is good. Would Millsap be able to keep up with other small forwards?

Probably not all small forwards. The thing is, he has decent range, has a great jumper, and has improved off the dribble. If he loses some weight and really embraces the switch, i think he could do well. I'm just excited that he's willing to make the switch if necessary.

He is as tall as Carmelo, but about 20 pounds heavier. It'll be interesting to see what happens
Jefferson-Favors-Millsap starting tonight. Favors already out with 2 fouls. I really want to see him and Hayward get some serious PT.

Anyway, I think we need to draft Alec Burks. I've heard his name a LOT, and it makes sense for us.
Although it was a very sloppy game, Favors and Hayward came up BIG for us tonight. I love the future of the Jazz.

The future is bright. Seeing Heyward grow up right before our eyes has been at least one positive that can be token out of this crazy season. Favors needs work, but he's really young, and he's displayed a good amount. Sure does need to work on the F.T.s though.

But wow beating the Lakers in L.A. seems unreal. I know the Lakers didn't play the best game but we actually played a great 4th Quarter. We also finally got the luck factor with Kobe losing the ball.

Hayward played pretty good D, but you're right, Kobe did lose the ball. i really hope that Hayward will start next season at the 2 for us.

Favors needs work, but he is also the youngest player in the league. He needs work, but given time he produces.
I'm totally blown away with what happened tonight.

I think Hayward is finally comfortable with his shot. He isn't deferring like he used to.

He just looks as if it's starting to click for him. It use to drive me nuts when he'd just hang in the corner waiting for a ball to come to come to him. Then he'd just usually pass it away. Now he's coming to the ball off screens, setting picks, taking it to the rack, not hesitating to hit a shot. It could be a thing of beauty.

I also notice the whole team has started kind of clicking as well. They are running plays that I haven't seen before, and being active. We've seen spurts of well played ball but we finally figured out how to close a game out and a tremendous amount of that was Hayward, not to mention Favors catching passes and finishing strong.

If we could close out the season on a high note, I will be somewhat less dissapointed in this season. I have felt this team has needed an overhaul for a while, and as of right now we have some great pieces and a lotto pick to keep the rebuilding process going.

"I wish Gordon Hayward would have stayed in college and helped Butler last night instead of kicking our butt"
-Phil Jackson

Hayward has now gotten props from many announcers, analyst, and some big names out there. Both Kobe and Durant have said this kid can play.

I like both of your rookies. Evans is extremely raw, but he plays with great length and has the tools...specifically his length and leaping ability...to be a contributor on both ends of the floor. You can tell he doesn't understand the game yet though, which is why how good he'll be will be determined by his work ethic. But the tools are there.

Hayward impresses me. He has a great understanding of the game, and his athletic ability is adequate enough on both ends. Not a great athlete, but good enough to hang and for his smarts to shine through. Kobe had some nice words for him too, which he usually reserves for guys that he really likes.

"I'm very, very fond of him," Bryant said. "He's a very skilled, all-around player. I think he's going to have a very bright future in this league. He reminds me of a more talented Jeff Hornacek. Jeff couldn't put the ball on the floor as well as [Hayward] can."

I just hope he turns out to be just as good if not better then Hornacek. Watching the game tonight sucks though. I'll never forgive KOC for letting Matthews go.

I don't know if you can blame KOC. This one might fall on the owner. It's pretty obvious that they reached their threshold and couldn't get any deeper into the luxury tax.
I'm impressed with Harris' outside shooting. I didnt think he was that good of a shooter from 3.

He's a career 29% shooter from 3. It would be nice if he could keep it up, but I don't expect it at all

1. Harris
2. Hayward
3. Milsap
4. Favors
5. Jefferson

Tonights starting lineup. I believe this lineup has a good amount of potential. Milsap at SF is intriguing. if he could shed a couple pounds he may be an alright fit.
