***2012-2013 Utah Jazz Thread***

Also Utah out-rebounded the bobcats 62-24! Good for the 4th largest differential in NBA history. Again, I know it was the bobcats, but it was great seeing the young guys get some time together.

Favors played well the game before this with 17pts and 15reb, but fouled out fairly quickly tonight. If he can play without fouling as often, he and kanter will be very fun to watch. Loved what Evans did with some real play time. Can't wait until we get to see some more games feating the young guys

Kanter and Favors still have some work to do but I think tonight shows exactly the potential Kanter has. Maybe it's because he's still so young but when Kanter plays well, it's a thing of beauty. Both him and Derrick have some spectacular post moves. Sucks I didn't get to watch this game. But we won the first quarter easily, something we havent done. Seemed to struggle (according to box score) in the 3rd again, but rebounded in the 4th.

This young nucleus has me really excited for the future. If we can somehow sign an All star player we could be really good!

Edit: At first glance I seen Kevin Murphy had 19, but it turned out to be Carroll. 19 points and he only played 20 minutes? Makes no sense why he doesn't get more playing time.

Incredible job by Kanter tonight. Kid was just a beast out there today. At one point he had as many rebounds as the entire Bobcat team did. Love it when the bench guys get to show off a bit like tonight too. Carroll and Evans were terrific, I just wish Murphy wouldve got more time. I'm really curious about his game.

Ladies and gentlemen your 2014 Jazz draft pick. This would be awesome.

That woudl be badass like the Morris brothers at Phoenix.
Eric Maynor had 7 pts and 12 assists tonight for Portland proving that he can play and doesn't deserve to be on the bench in OKC. That trade pissed me off so bad a few years ago when we gave him up so they'd take Harps contract. The kid really shined when D-Will got hurt right before he got traded, so of course we had to trade him. If we can this offseason I'd love to try to get him back. He's talented as hell he just needs a shot to prove himself.

I wish we could have kept him, he would instantly start for us right now. I still think he is best coming off the bench though.

Either way he's a stud and seeing him rot on the Thunder's bench since that trade really pissed me off. Theres no point in wasting a kid's talent on the pine. I'm glad he's doing good in Portland now backing up Lilliard.
This is just ridiculous we need to get Mo back asap. We shoudln't be losing games like tonight even if we have 3 starters go 0-15. Having 3 guys get double doubles and having 4 guys off the bench score in double figures is great but we need to get Watson and Williams on the bench permanently. Plus why Corbin would draw plays repeatedly for Millsap while Larry Sanders is on him is so stupid. The guy is one of the most improved players in the league and definitely one of the top defenders so why have an undersized PF go up again a 6'11" center? His coaching is so inconsistent it drives me nuts especailly when we have young talent as good as we do.

Forgot to add that Favors didn't touch the court in the fourth or overtime, yet another resaon why Corbin is one of the dumbest coaches in the league.

Corbin is a fool for benching favors for the end of the game. He was having such a great game but saw no time at the end, even in OT?! I really hope he is gone at the end of the year. Four has been off lately and Marvin has been bad pretty much all year. Again, I really hope Marvin opts out. I enjoyed most of the game, but hate how Corbin handled subs at the end.

Ellis & Jennings-54 points Ellis had 3 assist himself, while Jennings had 17
Earl & Foye-0 pointsw, 3 assist for 6 points combined

We went to OT. Just think if one of our 3 starters put up a point?

I was so ready to claim this as the best victory of the year, but like you both this game just pissed me off even worse. Corbin and his subs makes no sense. Let's not put in Foye all 4th but put him in in OT to hit a 3 cold. Not only that but how can you not draw up better plays? A Milsap 3 to tie the game? Come down and throw the ball to Milsap every play? That is not coaching. That is calling a play for one guy and hoping he wins it for you.

So much I could b***h about but it's pointless.
Second time in about two weeks where 3 starters get 0 points combined. Watson-Foye-Williams. Just pathetic.

I was watching this one on the side tv. I figured it was over when they were up 5 under 2 minutes to go. That's what you call giving it away.

Oh trust me its what we're best at. We're giving the Lakers all the opportunity in the world to get into the playoffs.
