Streak ended last night as a result of poor defense. Ibaka and Stefolosha came out of nowhere to help out Durant and Westbrook with the win in Salt Lake. To make matters worse Wes Matthews scored 30 points starting for the injured Brandon Roy tonight. I really wish we had matched that offer sheet.

after matching Millsaps, im not sure they could afford to do it again.

No they couldn't but it was another front loaded deal so at least we woulda had the majority of it gone by the time D-Will becomes a F/A in a couple years, but it sure would be nice to have his scoring on the wings right now.

Well we beat a team we should always beat last night even though we struggled especially the bench. D-Will had 23 and 8 and Millsap added 19 and 15. The rest of hte starters scored at least 15 points as well although the bench was crap and only combined for 10 points although some of that is because CJ got hurt in the first half.
Next up the Spurs

SALT LAKE CITY — Jazz coach Jerry Sloan will miss the next two games to attend funeral services of a family member.
In Sloan's absence, Jazz assistant coach Phil Johnson will assume head-coaching responsibilities for Friday night's home game against the San Antonio Spurs and Saturday's game at Portland.
Sloan is expected to return in time for Monday's game at EnergySolutions Arena against Sacramento, a team spokesman said.
Sloan has only missed 16 of 1,996 regular-season games in his 23 years as Utah's head coach. The most recent was on April 3, 2009, for a family funeral. The Jazz went 9-7 in games that the Hall of Fame coach missed.

Do you guys see this as a game to measure where Utah is at this point? I personally want to see how we fare against a solid team. Although, we did handle the Bulls who have only lost 4.

I do actually! THe wins in Orlando and Miami were great but I want to see what we can do against a powerhouse in the West besides OKC.

Yeah, ORL or MIA aren't in the same category as the team with the best record in the league.

Another great comeback win by the Jazz thanks to CJ who scored 17 of his 25 points in the 4th and made a career high 7 3 pointers. Big Al had a great night as well with 20 points and 14 rebounds. On an interesting note we have a better road record (6-2) then we do at home (3-3). Thats unheard of for a Utah team.

CJ is finally getting his act together as he helps spark another great run to lead the Jazz to a win for their 10th of the season. Miles scored 20 points and had 4 rebounds and 4 assists, Big Al had 19 and 8, Millsap and Williams both struggled and had 11 and 12 apiece, AK also finished in double digits with 10. It was also nice to see the bench score 37 points for us although Fes and Evans need to start getting more time.

These commentators you guys have are hilarious. After one half of play, they've convinced me that the Jazz are the greatest team ever assembled with the greatest players at every position, 1-12. No team is capable of beating them, and their superior play forces every team into everything that's going on during the game.
You guys should be proud to root for such a team.
