You got us good, 7-3 I think, sucks that we didn't have Igor or Georgiev in goal, we had to play Adam Huska.

Anyway, Rangers are 1st in the Metropolitan division, 39 points, 2nd to the Florida Panthers, this team has really gotten a lot better under Gerald Gallant, & Drury as HC & GM.

Yeah and you guys played the day before right? Our offense are firing on all cylinders but our goaltending is still giving some routine goals for his caliber. He's only played around 20 games so we know that takes time for a new goaltender. Rematch with your boys next week I think. I wanted Georgie if he was made available last year.

Yeah, the Goalie was a rook, and we played the day before, I think in Chicago, we've won 12 of the last 14 games. I'm hoping we get Igor Shesterkin back soon, they sent Adam Huska down, called up Keith Kinkaid, a veteran, to backup Georgiev, who isn't as bad as some will say, and I think he could be had at the deadline, final yr of his deal, we only have like $10.6M in cap room next offseason, with some good FAs, Ryan Strome(UFA), Sammy Blais(RFA), & Kaapo Kakko(RFA), I hope they can retain Strome, he's been money as a Ranger, I don't get fans who think he's not good enough to be 2C.

Course other smaller FAs like Keith Kinkaid(UFA), Greg McKegg(UFA), Kevin Rooney(UFA), Julien Gauthier(RFA), Libor Hajek(RFA), they won't be able to keep everyone.

Of their 23 man roster, plus the 2 injured players, they have the following signed for next season.

Panarin - $11,642,857
Mika - $8,500,000
Kreider - $6,500,000
Goodrow - $3,641,667
Chytil - $2,300,000
Reaves - $1,750,000
Lafreniere - $925,000
Hunt - $762,500
Fox - $9,500,000
Trouba - $8,000,000
Lindgren - $3,000,000
Nemeth - $2,500,000
Lundkvist - $925,000
Miller - $925,000
Igor - $5,666,667

So they have most of their bigger names signed, it'd be nice if the cap goes up from the flat $81.5M it's been forever it seems.

Of the signed players, Panarin, Kreider, Mika, Goodrow, Trouba, Nemeth have either NMC, or some sort of NTC. All of these guys have been good, Trouba & Kreider may not be worth the money on a flat cap, but they're money, I like this Goodrow kid, & Nemeth, both tough players, same with Reaves.

So now Jordan Kyrou is hurt ahead of the game against Anaheim. Injuries this year have been f**king unreal.

Out due to Covid (3): Binnington, Faulk, and Bozak.
Out due to injury (7): Husso, Kostin, Kyrou, Neal, Perron, Thomas, Walman
Only players to not miss a game for any reason (4): Tarasenko, Barbashev, Parayko, and Scandella

So the Blues are down essentially 2 top goaltenders, 2 forward lines, and 1 defensive pairing. Fun.

Super Mario

good for him. If not for injuries and cancer, he would have beaten some Gretzky records

still probably the most physically talented hockey player I've probably seen

1. Mario Lemieux
2. alex ovechkin (especially young Ovie)
3.mcdavid

^not order if best, but most athletically freakish making inhuman plays no one else could do
