Looking at some stats on Dallas-Colorado
G Blackwood is playing better than G Oettinger. Blackwood has been just about the best goalie in playoffs against high-danger shots.
Colorado has given up very few shots off-the rush. But Colorado has given up a ton of rebound chances.
Dallas has done an excellent job keeping shots from the outside.
Jamie Benn-Dadanov-Wyatt Johnston have been an offensive juggernaut.
The Kelly-Drury-O'Connor line has been outstanding. Arguably some of the best numbers in playoffs. O'Connor before these playoffs had 31 playoff games and 5 points. In 2 games in the series, he has 4 points.
Dallas 4th line got completely caved. With Colorado getting last change, expect Mackinnon against 4th line constantly.
Both Mackinnon and Makar have surprisingly struggled. Given up more dangerous shots against then they generated.
Unsurprisingly D Gerard has clearly been targeted by Dallas with hits. Oddly Colorado is targeting D Bischel (the 6'7 giant).
Chris Coyle has been Colorado's best faceoff man. Roope Hintz has been best faceoff man in the series.
It's pretty much all Dallas on this 1st period. The mixing of lines along with Landeskog coming in has messed up some of the chemistry. Of course Dallas is playing their game and Rantanen is getting close. Lucky for Avs with that miscommunication Nuke goal there.

Wow. I know you guys will say I'm crazy but makar toews are struggling. Gave up OT goal
makar oddly pinched on Rantanen when Rant was tired and going for a change. That bad decision in neutral zone let Marchment in zone and Toews had to crash on him. Makar should have played it conservatively for n NZ
so often in OT if you don't score on PP you lose. Your top players get tired while theirs rest
mackinnon player absurd minutes. Same problem for Avs last year. They wear out their top guy

4 minute PP… yikes! Avs can't do s**t once you neutered their speed. One trick pony. Told you Bednar's team can't solve DeBoer. Oh well, this might be done in 5.

It's interesting because makar and Mackinnon are clearly the best 2 players, and your goalie is playing insane!
Game 4 is huge. A flukey game 1 and 2 OTs of Dallas coming from behind.

Ok, I'm back after the draft thingy thing lol. So OT win for LV. Dang, this is another tight series. EDM/LA has been high scoring while WPG/STL has been a good series so far.
