True baseball analysis right here.

Everyone needs to calm down and learn that baseball is a game of averages. Large sample size is necessary.

yeah, going from A ball to AAA in your first year of professional baseball, and then making the Major League club out of camp the next year is a classic sign of a flawed hitter.

If you dont think that Belt has a giant hole in his swing, I dont know what to tell you. Hopefully it can be corrected.

LOL, where is this hole? He used to have trouble inside, but has definitely shortened his stroke to get to that pitch.

Half of the hitters in baseball have a hole in their swing. guys with no weak spots are usually elite.

What you're suggesting is that we stop playing Belt because his swing isn't perfect? its his 3rd year in pro baseball. most guys are still in the minors in their 3rd year. You keep getting him AB's and working on his swing, and he'll get better. I don't get why so many people don't understand this concept. being on the bench, or playing at AAA isn't going to help him at all. He crushes AAA pitching, so the issues with his swing are Major League issues.

Belt is a special talent who is still raw. The fact that he's already mastered the minor leagues should key you in to how good he could be. have some patience.
lineup: Blanco cf, Cabrera rf, Sandoval 3b, Posey c, Huff lf, Belt 1b, Crawford ss, Burriss 2b, Cain p

Pretty good however I would like to see Bochy try this one

Blanco rf, Pagan cf, Sandoval 3b, Posey c, Cabrera lf, Belt 1b, Theiort/Buriss 2b, Crawford ss
Nice.. i wanted to see Blanco get the start tonight. Was hoping Pill would get the nod over Huff or Belt tonight, but oh well. just happy to see Blanco starting, and seeing what he can provide on the top of the lineup. I honestly think he's going to get a legit shot at supplanting Pagan, especially if Pagan continues to struggle. Would be nice to see someone get on base in front of Cabrera, Pablo and Posey.
Bochy acknowledged Belt has struggled but credited AZ pitching. Said Belt "will be out there."

optimal lineup.
Man, I especially can't wait until Freddy comes back. He would definitely help balance our lineup from top to bottom a lot better.
